4. Maintenance

4.1 Charging

The microphone transmitters and receiver are charged via the provided charging case and Type-C cable. Ensure the units are properly seated in the charging case. The charging case itself is charged via a Type-C port.

4.2 Wind Muff Installation

For outdoor use or in windy conditions, attach the provided wind muff to the microphone transmitter to reduce wind noise and improve audio clarity.

4.3 Cleaning and Storage

  • Wipe the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Store the microphone system in its charging case in a cool, dry place when not in use.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Microphone Not Connecting/Pairing

  • Ensure both the transmitter(s) and receiver are fully charged.
  • Verify that both units are powered on.
  • Check if the indicator lights are solid after powering on. If they are flashing, the units are still attempting to pair.
  • If pairing fails, turn both units off and then on again to re-initiate the pairing process.

5.2 No Sound or Poor Sound Quality

  • Ensure the receiver is securely connected to your recording device.
  • Check the volume settings on your recording device.
  • If using an Android phone, confirm that the OTG connection is enabled in your phone's settings (see Section 2.4).
  • Ensure the microphone is not in Silent Mode.
  • If experiencing static or interference, try moving closer to the receiver or away from other electronic devices that might cause interference.
  • For outdoor use, ensure the wind muff is properly installed.

5.3 Not Working with Professional Camera

While the SX12 is compatible with cameras, some professional cameras may require specific audio input settings or additional adapters not included in the standard package. Consult your camera's manual or contact customer support for guidance.
