5. Setup and Installation
The EM176-TTLOCK is designed for simple, 2-step positioning installation.
- Prepare the Installation Position:
Identify the desired location for the lock on your cabinet or drawer. Mark and drill the necessary screw holes for both the keypad and the lock body. Ensure proper alignment for the ribbon cable and the latch mechanism. - Wiring and Secure Installation:
Connect the touch panel keypad to the lock cylinder (main unit) using the provided ribbon cable. Route the power cord through the designated hole. Install the 4 AAA alkaline batteries into the lock body. Position the lock body and keypad, then secure them firmly with the provided screws.

Unlocking Methods
- Password Unlocking: Enter your programmed password on the backlit touch buttons and confirm to unlock. The backlit buttons ensure visibility in the dark.
- Fingerprint Unlocking: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor to unlock.
- IC Card Unlocking: Swipe a registered 13.56MHz IC card (e.g., silicone bracelet card, keychain card, RFID card) over the designated sensor area to unlock.
