1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your COMFAST WiFi 6E PCI-E Wireless Adapter. Please read this guide thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper functionality and longevity of the product.

The COMFAST CF-AX210PRO series offers a high-speed wireless solution for desktop PCs, featuring Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) technology and Bluetooth 5.3 (or 5.2 depending on model). 3. Setup and Installation

This section guides you through the physical installation of the wireless adapter into your desktop computer and the subsequent driver installation.

3.1 Hardware Installation

  1. Prepare your computer: Power off your computer and unplug all cables. Remove the computer host panel to access the motherboard.

  2. Identify PCI-E Slot: Locate an available PCI-E slot on your motherboard. The adapter is compatible with PCI-Ex1, PCI-Ex4, PCI-Ex8, and PCI-Ex16 slots.

  3. Insert Wireless Adapter: Carefully insert the wireless adapter into the chosen PCI-E slot (labeled 'A' in Figure 3) until it is firmly seated.
  4. Secure the Adapter: Screw the bezel of the adapter to the computer case (labeled 'B' in Figure 3) to secure it in place.

  5. Connect Bluetooth Cable: Plug the small end of the provided Bluetooth cable into the network card (labeled 'C' in Figure 4). Connect the other end of the Bluetooth cable to the Front Panel USB Header on your motherboard (labeled 'D' in Figure 4). This connection is essential for Bluetooth functionality.

  6. Install Antennas: Screw the two high-gain antennas onto the connectors at the back of the wireless adapter.
  7. Close Computer Case: Reinstall the computer host panel.
  8. Power On: Plug in the power cable and turn on your computer.

3.2 Driver Installation

The adapter supports Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and Linux operating systems.

  1. Download Drivers: Download the latest drivers from the official COMFAST website (www.szcomfast.com). Navigate to "Download Help" and search for your product model (e.g., CF-AX210PRO). Alternatively, use the provided CD driver.
  2. Extract Drivers: If the downloaded file is a compressed package, decompress it first.
  3. Install WiFi Driver: Open the corresponding driver folder. Double-click "WiFi_Driver64_Win10.exe" (or the appropriate file for your OS) to run the installation program. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the WiFi driver installation.
  4. Install Bluetooth Driver: Open the corresponding driver folder. Double-click "BT_64_Win10.exe" (or the appropriate file for your OS) to run the installation program. Click "Next" to complete the Bluetooth driver installation.

Note: Do NOT run the Bluetooth and WiFi driver installers at the same time.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the hardware is installed and drivers are successfully set up, your computer should be able to detect and connect to wireless networks and Bluetooth devices.

4.1 Connecting to Wi-Fi

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in your system tray (usually in the bottom-right corner of your screen).
  2. A list of available wireless networks will appear. Select your desired network.
  3. Click "Connect". If prompted, enter the network security key (password).
  4. Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon will indicate a successful connection.

4.2 Connecting to Bluetooth Devices

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.
  2. On your computer, go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Bluetooth & other devices".
  3. Turn on Bluetooth.
  4. Click "Add Bluetooth or other device" and select "Bluetooth".
  5. Select your device from the list and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Wi-Fi Networks Detected:
    • Ensure the adapter is correctly seated in the PCI-E slot.
    • Verify that the WiFi drivers are installed correctly. Check Device Manager for any yellow exclamation marks next to the network adapter.
    • Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled in your operating system settings.
    • Check if the antennas are securely attached.
  • Bluetooth Not Working:
    • Confirm the Bluetooth cable is properly connected to both the adapter and the motherboard's USB header.
    • Verify that the Bluetooth drivers are installed correctly.
