8.1 Common Issues and Solutions

  • Device not pairing with Tuya App:
    • Ensure the keypad is in WiFi pairing mode (*999999#73#).

    • Check that the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
    • Ensure the keypad is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
  • Temporary password not working:
    • Check the validity period of the temporary password in the Tuya App. If it has expired, it will no longer work.
    • Ensure the correct temporary code is being entered.
  • RFID card or permanent password not unlocking the door:
    • Verify that the card or password has been correctly added and is active in the Tuya App's user management section.
    • Ensure the RFID card is swiped correctly over the sensing area.
  • No power to the keypad:
    • Check the DC12V power supply connection and ensure it is functioning correctly.
    • Inspect all wiring connections for looseness or damage.

9. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the keypad surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the touch screen or finish.
