6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your Tectake Vivara Pavilion:
- Cleaning: The plastic tarpaulins are resistant and easy to clean. Use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth or sponge to clean the canopy and side panels. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow to air dry completely before storage. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Frame Care: Inspect the powder-coated steel frame periodically for any signs of rust or damage. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, or during adverse weather forecasts, disassemble the pavilion and store all components in a dry, protected area. Ensure the tarpaulins are completely dry to prevent mold and mildew.
7. Troubleshooting
Most issues with the pavilion are related to improper setup or adverse weather conditions.
- Instability: Ensure all frame connections are tight, and all 12 ground pegs are firmly inserted. Always use the 6 tension ropes for maximum stability.
- Water Leakage: While the tarpaulin is water-resistant, heavy or prolonged rain may cause some leakage. Ensure the canopy is taut and properly secured to allow water runoff.
- Wind Damage: As stated in the safety information, the pavilion is not designed for storm conditions. Disassemble the pavilion immediately if strong winds or storms are expected to prevent damage.
