4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Attaching Accessories
- Align the desired accessory (e.g., standard reflector, soft light cover) with the magnetic bayonet on the front of the P40W light.
- Gently push the accessory onto the light until it securely attaches via the magnetic connection.
- To remove, simply pull the accessory away from the light.

4.2 Mounting the Light
The P40W light features quarter screw holes for mounting on various stands and grips.
- Locate the quarter screw hole on the bottom of the P40W light.
- Attach the light to a compatible light stand, tripod, or grip by screwing it onto the 1/4-inch thread.
- Ensure the light is securely fastened before use.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
To power on the device, use the dual boot-up procedure to prevent accidental activation. Press and hold the power button (usually located on the top or side) for a few seconds until the LED display illuminates. To power off, repeat the process.
5.2 Adjusting Settings
The P40W light features control knobs for adjusting various settings, which are displayed on the integrated LED screen.
- CCT/FX Knob: This knob controls the Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) mode and special effects (FX) mode. Rotate to adjust CCT (2500K-6500K) or cycle through different special effects. Press the knob to switch between CCT and FX modes.
- DIM Knob: This knob controls the brightness (dimming) of the light. Rotate to increase or decrease the light intensity.

5.3 Special Effects (FX) Modes
The P40W offers a range of dynamic lighting effects to simulate various scenarios. The RGB version includes 12 effects, while the Bi-Color version includes 6.
- Bi-Color Version Effects: Lightning, Candlelight, Bad Light Bulb, Flash Light, SOS, Screen.
- RGB Version Effects: Lightning simulation, Candlelight simulation, Red light SOS, Paparazzi flash, RGB slow loop, RGB fast loop, Quiet 1, Quiet 2, Police car lights, Ambulance lights, Fire truck lights, Disco.

5.4 Charging the Battery
The P40W has a built-in 14.8V 5000mAh rechargeable battery. Use the provided Type-C charging cable to connect the light to a power source. For fast charging and to use the light while charging, a 45W PD protocol fast charging adapter is recommended (not included).

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the light. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For the COB tempered glass, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution if necessary.
- Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to approximately 50-70%.
- Avoid Obstruction: Ensure the ventilation holes are not obstructed during operation to prevent overheating.
7. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Perform the dual boot-up procedure correctly.
- Light not charging: Check the Type-C cable and power adapter connection. Ensure the power adapter meets the required specifications (e.g., 45W PD for fast charging).
- Overheating: If the light feels excessively hot, ensure the ventilation holes are clear and the ambient temperature is within the operating range (0-40°C). The intelligent temperature control system will reduce power output or shut down if necessary.
- Inconsistent light output: Check battery level. Ensure no accessories are obstructing the light path.
