6. Troubleshooting

Q: Is it normal to hear a 'da-da-da' sound?
A: Yes, it's normal. The relay operates by controlling the circuit through the opening and closing of metal contacts.
Q: The 'da-da-da' sound is louder in flashing mode, is there any safety concern?
A: There are no safety concerns. You may hear a louder sound in flashing mode, but our circuit board includes protective chips, and we have conducted 30,000 hours of durability testing to ensure safety and reliability.
Q: When connecting to the battery, the power indicator is always on. Will it cause battery loss?
A: No. The standby current of this product is less than 3mA. A 60AH battery provides 833 days of standby power for the switch panel without charging it.
Q: How do I know if the wiring is correct?
A: If the power indicator is red on, it means the connection is correct.
Q: Can I choose NOT to connect ACC power?
A: No, the control box MUST be connected to ACC to work properly.
Q: What is the type of Add-a-Circuit Fuse Tap?
A: Small fuse tap.

7. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your MICTUNING P1s-R RGB 6 Gang Switch Panel, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the switch panel with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Ensure the panel is dry before operation.
  • Fuse Replacement: If a fuse needs replacement, always use a new fuse with the SAME or LOWER amperage as the old one. For instance, replace a 30A fuse with another 30A or less; do NOT use a 10A fuse to replace a 5A fuse.
  • Environmental Protection: While the product is IP65 waterproof, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme conditions or direct high-pressure water jets.

8. User Tips

  • Utilize the 140pcs label stickers to clearly identify each switch function for quick and intuitive operation, especially in low-light conditions.
  • Experiment with the 8 RGB colors and 3 lighting effects to match your vehicle's interior ambiance or your personal preference.
  • Adjust the 6-level brightness to ensure comfortable visibility day or night, preventing distraction while driving.
  • For accessories requiring quick, temporary activation (e.g., a horn or momentary light), set the switch to Momentary (Blue) mode.
  • Consider the Flash (Purple) or Strobe (Green) modes for signaling or warning purposes, such as turn signals or emergency lights.
