4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Powering the Thermostat
The Emitter (thermostat display unit) can be powered by 3 alkaline batteries or via a USB cable. The Receiver (control unit) requires AC 90V-240V power.

4.3 Wiring Diagram (for Gas Boiler / Electric Heating)

- COM and NO: Connect the gas boiler signal line (Dry contact).
- If COM introduces a live wire (L), NO can be connected to a 150W pump or a normally closed actuator.
- L: Connect the live wire. N: Connect the zero line.
- L1: Connects the load live wire. N1: Connects the load zero line.
4.4 Wi-Fi Connection and Pairing
To enable smart control, connect your thermostat to your home Wi-Fi network via the Tuya SmartLife app.
- Ensure the Receiver is powered on.
- Press and hold the temperature conversion button on the Emitter for 5 seconds while it is in the off state. The QR code icon will flash.
- Long press the button on the Receiver for 5 seconds. The green signal light will flash, indicating that coding is in progress. A solid green light indicates successful pairing.
- Open the Tuya SmartLife app on your smartphone.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
