8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your laser distance meter, try the following:
- Device not turning on: Check if the batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace them if necessary.
- Inaccurate measurements: Ensure the laser lens is clean and unobstructed. Verify the measurement reference point is correctly set. Ensure the target surface is suitable for laser reflection.
- Laser not visible: In bright outdoor conditions, the green laser might be less visible to the naked eye, but the device will still measure accurately. Refer to the "User Tips" section for more on green laser visibility.
- Error messages: If an error code appears on the screen, try turning the device off and on again. If the error persists, consult the full product manual or contact customer support.

10. User Tips
- Green Laser Visibility: The green laser offers enhanced visibility, especially in outdoor or brightly lit conditions, compared to traditional red lasers. This can be particularly useful for outdoor measurements where the laser dot needs to be clearly seen.
- Stable Measurements: For the most accurate results, ensure the device is held steady or placed on a stable surface during measurement.
- Target Surface: Reflective or transparent surfaces can affect measurement accuracy. For best results, measure to a solid, opaque, and non-reflective surface.
