4. Setup & Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is off before beginning installation.

4.1 Pre-Installation Check

  • Verify that the car radio is compatible with your vehicle model (Renault Traffic 3 2014-2021 or Opel Vivaro B 2014-2018).
  • Confirm all package contents are present and undamaged.
  • Take a picture of your original car center console to confirm compatibility if unsure.

4.2 Physical Installation

  1. Carefully remove the original car radio and trim panels.
  2. Connect the OEM Power Cable Kit. This is a plug-and-play system designed for easy connection.
  3. Connect all necessary accessories: USB cables, RCA cables, GPS antenna, camera input cable, and 4G cable (if applicable).
  4. If the machine cannot be fully embedded during installation due to screw posts, you may cut off these two screw posts. This will not affect other functions.
  5. Insert the new Android 15 car radio into the dashboard opening.
  6. Secure the unit and reassemble the trim panels.

4.3 Initial Power-On

After installation, turn on the vehicle ignition. The car radio should power on automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup, such as language selection and time zone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation and Interface

The device features a responsive touch screen. Navigate through applications and settings by tapping icons and swiping. The main screen displays common apps like Phone, Music, Maps, and Messages.

5.2 Map Navigation (GPS)

The unit comes with a built-in GPS module and pre-installed Google Maps. It also supports other navigation applications like IGO, Sygic, and Waze. Ensure the GPS antenna is properly connected for optimal signal reception.

5.3 Bluetooth 5.0 Connectivity

The device features Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.0 for lower power consumption, faster transmission speed, no call delay, stronger anti-interference ability, and a more stable signal.

  • Pairing: Go to Bluetooth settings on the car radio and your mobile device to pair.
  • Hands-free Calling: Once paired, you can make and receive calls directly from the car radio interface.
  • Music Streaming: Stream audio from your paired device to the car radio.

5.4 Audio Settings (DSP & EQ)

Equipped with a DTS tuning system and ST TDA-7850IC HiFi DSP power amplifier chip, the unit supports 5.1 channel audio, 48 equalizer tuning, 5 scenemodes, virtual central, surround sound adjustment, mixing level adjustment, and focus adjustment for an immersive auditory experience.

  • Equalizer (EQ): Adjust frequency bands to customize sound output.
  • DSP (Digital Sound Processor): Fine-tune sound characteristics, including surround sound, zone settings, and bass filters.
  • Sound Field Control: Control the timing of sound emitted to reach ears simultaneously, creating a concert hall effect.

5.5 Split Screen Functionality

The device supports simultaneous display of two applications on the screen, enabling more convenient and faster operation.

  • To activate split screen, open an application, then drag another compatible application to the side of the screen.

5.6 CarPlay & Android Auto

The car radio supports both Wireless CarPlay (ISO Carplay) and Wired Android Auto, eliminating the need to purchase additional accessories.

  • ISO CarPlay: Connect via Bluetooth. Tap on Car Link or Zlink and wait for the connection process to complete. Can also be connected via USB cable.
  • Android Auto: Connect the car radio and your mobile phone with a USB cable. Tap on Car Link or Zlink and wait for the connection process to complete.

5.7 Voice Control

Safer driving with intelligent voice control without the need for manual operation. It offers more sensitive voice recognition and a broader range of recognition.

  • Common Commands: "Go Home", "Play Music", "Close Screen", "Go to New York", "Turn on the radio", "Go to a nearby gas station", "Avoid congested road sections", "Call 911 Now", "Navigate to the hospital".

5.8 FM/AM RDS Radio

The radio supports both automatic and manual station search. You can drag the icon of a target station and place it into the channel list for quick access.

5.9 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

This head unit's steering wheel control (SWC) works with a digital SWC. You can take control of music or use the hands-free calling function for safety and concentration on the road ahead.

  • Access "Steering Learn" in the settings menu to configure your steering wheel buttons.

6.1 ADAS DVR Anti-Collision Warning Driving Recorder

Driving is made safer with functions like front vehicle distance prediction, front vehicle anti-collision warning, and lane departure warning. The ADAS DVR (optional) provides these features, along with sound warnings, loop recording, G-sensor, motion detection, and a floating window display.

6.2 Rear View Camera

Compared with ordinary cameras, the SONY AHD rear-view video (optional) offers clearer picture quality, enhancing safety and convenience during reversing.

6.3 360° Panoramic Camera

With the 3D/2D 360 panorama mode and blind spot assistance, driving becomes easier. It offers more convenient visualization and safer parking and reversing. If you wish to add a 360 camera, it must be ordered together with the car radio, as it requires installing a 360 camera chip onto the radio motherboard.
