5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

The Miboxer C6 remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

5.2. Linking the Remote to the Controller

The remote control must be linked to your SPI controller (SPIR3/SPIR3-M) before use.

1. Turn off the power to your LED strip light for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
2. Within 3 seconds of turning on the light, short press the "ON" button on the remote control 3 times.
3. The light will flash 3 times slowly, indicating that the linking process is complete.

Attention: If the light does not flash, the linking has failed. Please repeat the steps above. The remote cannot be linked again if it has already completed linking.

5.3. Unlinking the Remote from the Controller

To unlink the remote from a controller:

1. Turn off the power to your LED strip light for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
2. Within 3 seconds of turning on the light, short press the "ON" button on the remote control 5 times.
3. The light will flash 10 times quickly, indicating that the unlinking process is complete.

Attention: If the light does not flash, the unlinking has failed. Please repeat the steps above. There is no need to unlink if the light has never been linked.

5.4. Advanced Settings

5.4.1. Setting the Color Sequence from Strip Light

1. Long press the "OFF" button for 5 seconds until the light strip illuminates a single color.
2. To set the color sequence:
• For flashing red: Short press the red area on the color slider.
• For flashing green: Short press the green area on the color slider.
• For flashing blue: Short press the blue area on the color slider.
• For flashing white: Short press the "..." button (likely the RGBW button).

5.4.2. Setting Length (Pixel Number)

The pixel length can be set from a minimum of 8 pixels (8pt) to a maximum of 2048 pixels (2048pt).

1. Long press the "ON" button for 5 seconds until the light strip illuminates white and the last pixel is blinking.
2. Slide the "Pixel number" slider to change the length.
3. Short press the slider to add one pixel, or long press to add pixels continuously.
4. Short press the "ON/OFF" button to exit the setting mode once done.

5.4.3. Setting Width for Dynamic Mode

Slide the "Pixel number" slider to change the pixel count and achieve different lengths for dynamic modes, which may have various sections.

5.4.4. Setting Time and Color for ON/OFF

1. Short press the "OFF" button 5 times to enter the ON/OFF running setting mode.
2. Slide the "Speed" slider to set the time for ON/OFF.
3. Slide the "RGB" color slider to set the color for ON/OFF.
4. Short press the "ON/OFF" button to exit the setting mode once done.

6.1. Button Explanation

• RGB Slider: Slide to change the color of the light strip.
• Pixel Number Slider: Slide to change the length or width of the pixel display (refer to Section 5.4.2 for detailed settings).

• Brightness Slider: Slide to dim or brighten the light output.

3. Firmly stick the holder onto the chosen surface.
4. Place the remote control into the holder; it will be held securely by magnets.
