4. Setup and Connection

The PG-9233 controller supports both wireless Bluetooth connection and wired connection depending on the platform.

4.1. Wireless Bluetooth Connection (Android/iOS/Smart TV)

  1. Ensure your device (Android phone/tablet, Apple phone/tablet, Android smart TV) meets the system requirements: Android 6.0 or above, or iOS 11.0-13.3.1.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device.
  3. Power on the PG-9233 controller. The indicator lights will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  4. On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "PG-9233" to pair.
  5. Once paired, the indicator light on the controller will become solid, indicating a successful connection.

Note: For iOS devices, ensure your iOS version is within the supported range (11.0-13.3.1) for direct play without additional activation.

4.2. Wired Connection (P3/Nintendo Switch/PC)

  1. Connect the PG-9233 controller to your P3 console, Nintendo Switch console, or PC computer using a compatible USB cable (typically a USB-C to USB-A cable).
  2. The controller should be automatically recognized by the system.

5. Operation

5.1. Button Layout

5.2. Programmable Back Buttons (M1-M4)

  1. Entering Programming Mode: Press and hold the 'SET' button (usually a small button on the back or bottom) until an indicator light starts flashing.
  2. Assigning a Button: While in programming mode, press the back button you wish to program (e.g., M1). Then, press the action button(s) or combination of buttons you want to assign to it (e.g., 'A' or 'L1+R1').
  3. Exiting Programming Mode: Press the 'SET' button again. The indicator light will stop flashing, and the assignment is saved.
  4. Clearing a Programmed Button: Enter programming mode, press the back button you want to clear, then press 'SET' again without pressing any other action buttons.

5.3. Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for continuous rapid firing of certain buttons when held down.

  1. Setting Turbo: Press and hold the button you wish to set for Turbo (e.g., 'A'), then press the 'TURBO' button (usually located near the center of the controller). The button will now activate rapidly when held.
  2. Clearing Turbo: Press and hold the button with Turbo enabled, then press the 'TURBO' button again. The Turbo function for that button will be deactivated.

5.4. Using the Telescopic Phone Holder

The integrated telescopic support can hold smartphones with a width between 50mm and 80mm.

  1. Gently pull the top part of the controller upwards to extend the holder.
  2. Carefully place your smartphone into the holder, ensuring it is securely seated.
  3. Adjust the angle for optimal viewing.

6. Charging the Controller

The controller has a built-in 400mAh battery. When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash or change color.

  1. Connect the charging cable (USB-C) to the controller's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., solid red while charging, off when fully charged).
  4. A full charge typically provides over 10 hours of continuous use.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the controller dry and away from moisture.
  • Avoid exposing the controller to extreme temperatures.

Controller does not power on:

Cannot connect via Bluetooth:

  • Make sure the controller is in pairing mode (indicator lights flashing).
  • Check if your device meets the minimum system requirements (Android 6.0+, iOS 11.0-13.3.1).
  • Try unpairing and re-pairing the controller from your device's Bluetooth settings.
  • Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering.
Buttons or joysticks are unresponsive:
  • Ensure the controller is properly connected and powered on.
  • Check if the game supports external controllers.
  • If using a wired connection, try a different USB port or cable.
  • Reset the controller (if a reset button is available, typically a small pinhole button).
Telescopic holder not holding phone securely:
Ensure your phone's width is within the 50-80mm range. Remove any bulky phone cases that might prevent a secure fit.
