3. Setup Guide
3.1 Power Connection
- Ensure the mixer's power switch is in the OFF position.
- Connect the provided power adapter to the mixer's power input.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet (100~240 V 50 Hz/60 Hz).
- Turn on the mixer using the power switch.
3.2 Input/Output Connections
The PTL-600 offers a variety of input and output options for versatile audio setups. Refer to the diagram below for a visual guide.

- XLR Inputs (MIC): For microphones. Channels 1-4 support +48V Phantom Power for condenser microphones.

3.3 Phantom Power
The PTL-600 provides individual +48V phantom power switches for condenser microphones on channels 1-4.
- Connect your condenser microphone to the XLR input.
- Press the "PHANTOM" button for the corresponding channel to activate +48V phantom power. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Ensure phantom power is only activated when using condenser microphones that require it. Do not activate for dynamic microphones or other devices unless specified by their manufacturer.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Mixing
Each channel on the PTL-600 features an individual volume fader for precise level adjustments.

- Adjust the individual channel faders to set the desired volume for each input.
- Use the main fader to control the overall output volume.
- The 3-band EQ (HIGH, MID, LOW) on each channel allows for tonal shaping of individual inputs.

4.2 DSP Digital Effects Selection and Adjustment
The PTL-600 features 16 DSP digital effects to enhance your sound.
- Turn the "PROGRAM/PARAMETER" knob (counter-clockwise/clockwise) to select an effect (01-16).
- Press the "PROGRAM/PARAMETER" knob to confirm the selected effect.
- Press the "PROGRAM/PARAMETER" knob again to select the effect depth parameter.
- Turn the "PROGRAM/PARAMETER" knob (counter-clockwise/clockwise) to adjust the effect depth.
- Press the "PROGRAM/PARAMETER" knob again to confirm the effect depth.
Available effects include Reverb (Hall, Room, Plate), Ambience/Delay (Early Reflections, Gated, Reverse, Echo), and Modulation (Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Detune/Pitch, Pitch Shifter).
4.3 Bluetooth Streaming Operation
Stream audio wirelessly to your mixer via Bluetooth.
- Short press the "ON/OFF" button next to the Bluetooth icon to initiate the Bluetooth function. The "PAIR" button will flash.
- On your smart device, search for "PHENYX PTL" in the Bluetooth settings and connect. The "PAIR" button will stop flashing and remain lit when connected.
- To disconnect and connect to a new device, short press the "PAIR" button.

4.4 USB Recording and Playback
Connect the PTL-600 to a computer via USB for high-fidelity recording and playback (48kHz/24bit sampling rate).
- Connect a USB-B cable from the mixer's USB port to your computer.
- Your computer should recognize the mixer as an audio device. Select it as the input/output device in your audio software.
4.5 Monitoring
The PTL-600 features dual stereo headphone outputs for flexible monitoring.
- Phones 1: Provides effective monitoring for the sound engineer.
- Phones 2: Provides an additional stereo headphone mix for singers or musicians.

5. Maintenance
