1. Introduction

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Align the battery pack with the grooves on the back of the radio.
- Slide the battery pack upwards until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the battery release latch (if present) and slide the battery downwards.
3.2 Charging the Battery
The RT-733 features convenient USB-C charging.
- Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the side or bottom of the radio.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the provided power adapter or a compatible USB power source.
- The charging indicator will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator may change color or turn off.
- A full charge typically provides up to 24 hours of battery life and 7 days of standby time.
3.3 Attaching the Antenna
- Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is firmly seated. Do not overtighten.
3.4 Attaching the Belt Clip
- Align the belt clip with the screw holes on the back of the radio.
- Secure it with the provided screws.

- Channel Knob: Used to select channels.

4.2 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Rotate the Volume/Switch knob clockwise to power on, counter-clockwise to power off.
- Volume Adjustment: Rotate the Volume/Switch knob to adjust the audio level.
- Channel/Frequency Selection: In Memory mode, use the Channel knob or keypad to select a channel. In VFO mode, use the keypad to enter a frequency or the Flip Up/Down keys to tune.
- Transmit (PTT): Press and hold the PTT button on the side of the radio to transmit. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive.
- One-Key Frequency Matching: This feature allows for quick frequency matching with other walkie-talkies. Refer to the specific menu option for 'One key to frequency'.
4.3 Advanced Features
- VOX (Voice Operated Transmit): Enables hands-free transmission when your voice is detected. Activate and adjust sensitivity in the menu.
- Scan: Scans through programmed channels or a frequency range to detect active transmissions. Activate via the 'SCAN' key or menu.
- Alarm Function (SOS): Press the dedicated SOS key for a one-click alarm in emergencies.
- Scrambler: Provides speech encryption for enhanced communication privacy. Enable/disable in the menu. The RT-733 supports 10 groups of speech encryption.
- High/Low Power: Adjust transmit power output (10W max) via the menu or a programmable side key to conserve battery or extend range.
- Voice Report: Select between Chinese or English voice prompts for menu navigation and status updates.
- CTCSS/DCS: Use Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System (CTCSS) or Digital Coded Squelch (DCS) to filter out unwanted signals and communicate only with radios using the same tone/code.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe the radio's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the USB-C port cover is properly sealed to maintain IP67 rating.
5.2 Battery Care
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the battery in a cool, dry environment.
- If storing the radio for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and remove it from the radio.
5.3 Waterproofing
The RT-733 is IP67 waterproof, meaning it is protected from dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, always ensure all port covers and the battery are securely attached before exposing the radio to water.
