It features 18 programmable ON/OFF plans and is suitable for various applications such as street lamp control, neon light, advertising signboard lighting, door head light, rice cooker timing, electric fan timing, water pump timing, and electric bell timing. The AHC30A model offers 1NO1NC contacts, while the AHC30B offers 1NO contacts.
2. Safety Information
- Ensure all wiring is performed by a qualified electrician and complies with local electrical codes.
- Disconnect power before installation or maintenance to prevent electric shock.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 30A for the relay. For loads exceeding 25A, an external contactor should be used.
- Avoid operating the device in humid, corrosive environments, or areas with high metal content gas, as this may affect normal operation and device lifespan.
- This product is an electronic device; avoid strong impacts or vibrations.
3. Product Overview
The time switch features a digital display, control buttons (P, D+, H+, M+, RESET, MANUAL), and terminal connections for input and output. It is designed for Din Rail mounting.

5. Operating Instructions
Initial Operation and Time Setting
- When using the time switch for the first time, press the RESET key.
- The time switch defaults to 24-hour mode. To switch to 12-hour mode, press D+ for 5 seconds. To return to 24-hour mode, the LCD will display "AM" and then press D+ for 5 seconds.
- To adjust the local time:
- Press D and then D+ to adjust the week.
- Press H+ to adjust the hour.
- Press M+ to adjust the minute.
Programming (18 Plans)
The device supports up to 18 ON/OFF programs (plans) per week. Follow these steps to set your programs:
| Step | Key | Programming |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | P | Set the time of the first opening. |
| 2 | H+/M+ | Display (1NO----), enter the time of first opening, adjust hours, adjust minutes. |
| 3 | D+ | Choose a certain day of the week. If you want to open it every day, select all of them (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU). |
| 4 | P | Set the time of the first close. |
| 5 | D+ | Display (1OFF----), enter the first shutdown time, adjust hours, adjust minutes. |
| 6 | D+ | Choose a certain day of the week. If you want to close every day, select all of them (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU). |
| Repeat | Steps 2-6 | Repeat for up to 18 plans. |
| 7 | P | End programming. |
Note: If you do not need all 18 settings, press the "C/R" key to exit programming.
Checking and Exiting Programming
- Press the MANUAL button to check your programmed settings.
- If you do not need an extra timing program group, press the MANUAL button to cancel it. The screen will display "--:--".
- After installing the wiring, press C/R to return to clock mode, then press MANUAL. The red light indicates the output load is energized.
Manual ON/OFF
- Press MANUAL to display "ON" or "OFF" to temporarily turn the output power ON or OFF.
- When "ON AUTO" or "AUTO OFF" is displayed, and "AUTO" is in the middle, the device is in automatic timing state. The timing will not execute immediately but will activate at the next programmed time node.
Countdown Setting
- To enter countdown mode, press D+, H+, and M+ simultaneously for 3 seconds. The display will show "0:00".
- Set the countdown time using D+ (days), H+ (hours), and M+ (minutes).
- To start the countdown function, press MANUAL.
- To reset to halfway, press the RESET button. To return to "0", press the P button.
- To end the countdown, press the P button, and then press the P button again for 3 seconds.
Ring Setting (for electric bell applications)
In the time setting mode, if the opening and closing times are the same (e.g., ON at 8:00 and OFF at 8:00), the time control switch will activate for 10 seconds. This is useful for electric bells, which will ring for 10 seconds and then stop.
6. Maintenance
- The time switch contains a replaceable lithium battery for power reserve. If the battery needs replacement, ensure the device is disconnected from power.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Regularly check wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
7. Troubleshooting
- Screen not displaying: First, ensure the protective lid is correctly installed. Then, press the "RESET" button. If it still doesn't display, charge the device for 12 hours and try resetting again.
- Timing not executing: Ensure the device is in "ON AUTO" or "AUTO OFF" mode with "AUTO" displayed in the middle. Verify that the programmed times are correctly set and do not cross over (e.g., an ON time should precede an OFF time within a logical sequence).
- Inaccurate timing: The device has a hysteresis of less than or equal to 1 second per day at 25°C. Significant temperature fluctuations may affect accuracy slightly.
- Output load issues: Ensure the connected load does not exceed the rated capacity of 30A. For inductive loads or loads exceeding 25A, an external contactor is recommended.

9. User Tips
- Always double-check your wiring against the provided diagrams before applying power to avoid damage to the device or connected appliances.
- When setting multiple programs, ensure there are no overlapping or conflicting ON/OFF times to prevent unexpected behavior.
- If the device is not responding as expected, a quick reset using the "RESET" button can often resolve minor glitches.
- For long-term reliability, consider using an external contactor for high-current or inductive loads, even if within the 30A limit, to protect the internal relay.
