2. Setup Guide
Google Play Store Support
The Fanvace M36 MP3 Player supports the Google Play Store, allowing access to a wide range of apps, music, movies, and more. To use the Google Play Store, you must sign in with your Google Account.
Important Notes:
- Avoid installing high-capacity or heavy games, as this device is primarily a music player.
- Only install applications from the Google Play Store. Installing apps from third-party or unknown sources may lead to compatibility issues or viruses.
- Excessive application installation can reduce system speed. If the player becomes unresponsive or restarts unexpectedly, consider uninstalling some apps to free up system resources.
- If prompted to update Google services when using the Google Play Store, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
Network Connection (Wi-Fi)
To access online features, connect your device to a Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) or an unsecured Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Go to 'Settings' and select 'Network & internet'.
- Turn on Wi-Fi.
- Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the password if required and tap 'Connect'.
- Alternatively, you can add a network manually by entering its information or by scanning a QR code.

Connecting to a Computer
You can transfer files between your MP3 player and a computer using the provided USB-C cable.

For Windows PC:
- Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the USB-C cable.
- The device driver will install automatically.
- Once installed, you can choose to 'Open folder to view files' or select the removable disk.
- You can then drag and drop files between your computer and the MP3 player, similar to a USB flash drive.
For Mac PC:
- First, install the Android File Transfer application. Download it from
android.com/filetransfer. - Install the application.
- Connect the MP3 player to your Mac using the USB-C cable.
- The Android File Transfer application will launch automatically, allowing you to drag and drop files for transfer.
3. Operating Instructions
Home Screen Navigation
The home screen can be customized with shortcuts, widgets, and folders.
- Battery Level: The white battery indicator decreases and turns red as the battery drains.
- Wi-Fi Signal: White bands decrease with weaker Wi-Fi signal strength.
- Hide: Hides all shortcut icons.
- Back: Navigates to the previous screen.
- Recent Apps: Opens a list of recently used applications. Tap an app to open or swipe left/right to remove it.
- Home: Returns to the home screen.
Changing Wallpaper
To change the wallpaper, tap and hold on any open space on your home screen. A list of options will appear:
- Wallpapers: Choose from default images.
- Gallery: Select a wallpaper from your personal gallery.
Using the Camera
Tap the camera app
to capture photos and videos.
- Tap the camera icon to take a photo.
- Pinch two fingers together on the screen to zoom in or out.
- Tap the switch camera icon
to switch between front and rear cameras. - Tap the settings icon
in the top left corner for camera settings.

Select the video icon to record a video. You can also adjust resolution settings and explore advanced features.
Taking a Screenshot
To take a screenshot:
- Press and hold the Power button and Volume- button simultaneously.
- Alternatively, press the Power button for 2 seconds and select the 'Screenshot' option.
Screen Recording
To record your screen:
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings panel.
- Tap on the 'Screen Recording' icon to start recording.

5. Troubleshooting
Device does not respond to charging or connecting to PC
- Check for poor contact at the connection points.
- Inspect the USB port for any damage.
- Verify if the USB cable is damaged.
- Try using the USB cable with other devices to confirm its functionality. If no response, the cable may be faulty. Contact support for replacement.
SD card is not working properly
- Re-insert the SD card into the device.
- Check the SD card for physical damage.
- Ensure the SD card is formatted as FAT32 or EXFAT (FAT32 is perfectly supported).
- Restart the MP3 player or perform a factory reset.
- Clean the metal contacts of the SD card.
- Ensure the SD card has sufficient free storage.
- If issues persist, email support with a video or photo.
Operating speed is slow / device stuck / restarts
- Too many applications: Remove some applications to free up system space.
- Software incompatibility: If you installed unknown third-party software, remove it.
- Poor Wi-Fi signal: A weak Wi-Fi signal can affect performance, especially with streaming apps.
Forgot password
The universal password is 1235789.
If you set a pattern screen lock and forgot it:
- Press and hold the Power button and Volume + button simultaneously until the Android recovery page appears.
- Use the Volume + or Volume - buttons to navigate up and down.
- Select 'Wipe data/factory reset' by pressing the Power button. This action will erase all data, so ensure you remember your password next time.
6. User Tips
Extending Battery Life
- Reduce screen brightness.
- Use a quick screen timeout (found in Settings > Display).
- Switch off Wi-Fi when not near a strong signal.
- Disable Location Services.
Media Playback
- The device supports various video formats like AVI, MKV, RMVB, MP4, MPG, MOV, DAT, TS. You can download additional video players from the Google Play Store if needed.
- Spotify can be listened to offline if you have a premium subscription and have downloaded content within the Spotify app.

Warning:
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures (below -10°C or above 50°C) for extended periods. Extreme temperatures can deform the device and shorten its lifespan.
