Operating Instructions
- Preparation: Ensure your workspace is clean and sterile. Wear the provided gloves.
- Ink Loading: Pour a small amount of tattoo ink into a sterile ink cup. Dip the tip of the needle cartridge into the ink, allowing it to draw ink into the reservoir.
- Initiate Tattooing: Press the foot pedal to activate the tattoo pen. The needle will begin to move.
- Application: Apply the needle to the practice leather or prepared skin surface with appropriate pressure and technique for lining or shading.
- Voltage Adjustment: Adjust the voltage as needed during the tattooing process to achieve optimal performance for different techniques and skin types.
- Pause/Stop: Release the foot pedal to pause or stop the tattoo pen.
- Needle Change: To change a needle, twist and pull the used cartridge out. Dispose of it safely in a sharps container. Insert a new sterile cartridge as described in the Setup section.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the tattoo pen from the power supply. Wipe down the exterior of the tattoo pen and power supply with a disinfectant wipe. Do not immerse the power supply or tattoo pen in liquid.
- Needle Disposal: Always dispose of used needle cartridges in a designated sharps container to prevent accidental injury and contamination.
- Storage: Store the tattoo pen kit in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cord Care: Inspect the RCA cord and power supply cord regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
- Motor Care: The tattoo pen features a high-quality motor designed for durability. Avoid excessive force or dropping the pen to prevent damage to the internal mechanism.
