2. Safety Instructions

5. Setup and Installation

The Techfine LiFePO4 battery is designed for wall-mounted installation. Ensure the installation location is dry, well-ventilated, and within the specified operating temperature range. Refer to the connection diagram below for proper system integration.

  1. Mounting: Securely mount the battery unit to a sturdy wall using appropriate hardware, ensuring it can support the battery's weight (105.5kg).
  2. Inverter Connection: Connect the battery's positive (+) and negative (-) output terminals to your Hybrid Solar Inverter. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Power Sources: Connect your Solar Panels, Generator, and/or Utility Grid to the Hybrid Solar Inverter as per the inverter's instructions.
  4. Loads: Connect your household or commercial loads (e.g., computer, refrigerator, AC, washing machine) to the Hybrid Solar Inverter's output.
  5. Communication: Connect the battery's communication ports (RS232, RS485, CAN) to your inverter or energy management system for data exchange and control. The battery is compatible with most major inverter brands (e.g., Victron, Pylon, Deye, SMA, Growatt, Goodwe, Voltronic, Sofar).
  6. Initial Power-Up: After all connections are secure, switch on the battery using the ON/OFF switch, then activate the Air Switch. Follow your inverter's manual for system startup.

8. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Battery not charging/discharging Air switch off, ON/OFF switch off, BMS protection activated (overcurrent, short circuit, temperature), loose connections. Check Air Switch and ON/OFF switch. Inspect all cable connections. If BMS protection is active, it may automatically release when conditions normalize (e.g., short circuit releases when charging). Consult LCD for error codes.
Low output power Battery State of Charge (SOC) is low, inverter settings incorrect, excessive load. Check battery SOC on LCD. Ensure inverter settings match battery specifications. Reduce load if necessary.
Unusual noise or smell Internal fault, overheating. Immediately disconnect power to the battery and inverter. Contact Techfine support. Do not attempt to fix it yourself.
