1. Product Overview

2. Setup

Attaching Accessories

  1. Ensure the rotary tool is unplugged from the power source.
  2. Press and hold the spindle lock button.
  3. Loosen the collet nut by turning it counter-clockwise.
  4. Insert the desired accessory shank into the collet. The tool supports chuck capacities of 1.6mm, 2.3mm, and 3.2mm. Ensure the accessory is fully seated.
  5. Tighten the collet nut by turning it clockwise until the accessory is securely held. Do not overtighten.
  6. Release the spindle lock button.

3. Operating Instructions

Powering On and Speed Adjustment

  1. After securely attaching an accessory, plug the tool into a 230V 50Hz power outlet.
  2. Turn the tool ON using the power switch.
  3. Adjust the speed using the 6-gear variable speed dial. The speed ranges from 10,000 to 32,000 revolutions per minute (rpm). Select a speed appropriate for your material and accessory. Lower speeds are generally for polishing and delicate work, while higher speeds are for cutting and grinding.

General Operation Tips

  • Hold the tool firmly but comfortably. Its ergonomic design and lightweight (approx. 0.7kg) allow for precision work.
  • Apply light pressure. Let the tool and accessory do the work. Excessive pressure can cause the tool to bog down, overheat, or damage the workpiece.
  • Keep the tool moving to prevent burning or gouging the material.

4. Maintenance

Cleaning and Storage

  • Always unplug the tool before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the tool's exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the heat dissipation windows are clear of dust and debris to maintain optimal cooling.
  • Store the tool and its accessories in the provided case in a dry, safe place, away from children.

Carbon Brush Replacement

The tool is equipped with carbon brushes, which are wear-and-tear components. If the tool experiences reduced power or intermittent operation, the carbon brushes may need replacement. Refer to the 'Carbon Brush Cover' in Figure 2 for location. Consult a qualified technician or the manufacturer for replacement instructions if you are unsure.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Tool does not turn ON: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position. If the issue persists, the carbon brushes might be worn out.
  • Accessory wobbles or falls out: Ensure the collet nut is tightened securely and the accessory shank matches the collet size (1.6mm, 2.3mm, or 3.2mm).
  • Tool loses power or overheats: Reduce pressure on the workpiece. Ensure the heat dissipation windows are not blocked. Allow the tool to cool down. If the problem continues, check for worn carbon brushes.
  • Excessive vibration: Ensure the accessory is properly seated and balanced. Replace any bent or damaged accessories.
