3. Setup
Inserting the Micro SD Card
The camera supports Micro SD cards with capacities from 32GB to 128GB. For optimal performance, use a U1 or higher high-speed card. Ordinary cards may not function correctly. It is recommended to format the card within the camera upon first use.
Battery Charging
To charge the camera, use the original data cable provided. Connect it to a computer, a power adapter, or a car charger. The camera supports video recording while charging. For faster and more efficient charging, it is recommended to charge the camera while it is powered off.
4. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
To power on or off the camera, long press and hold the power switch for approximately 3 seconds.
Switching Between Front and Rear Screens
To switch the display between the front and rear screens, long press and hold the 'Shutter Key' button for 3 to 5 seconds.
Photography Mode (Video Recording)
After powering on the camera, press the 'boot' key. The screen will display an icon in the upper left corner, indicating it is in photography (video) mode. Press the 'OK' key to start recording; a yellow dot will flash, and a timer (00:00:00) will begin. Press 'OK' again to stop recording.
Photo Mode
After powering on the camera, press the 'boot' button and select 'photo mode'. An icon will appear in the upper left corner of the screen, indicating it is in photo mode. Press the 'OK' button to take a picture.
Camera Settings
In camera mode, tap the 'set icon' on the screen to access settings. Here you can adjust:
- Anti-shake function (Electronic Image Stabilization)
- Video resolution (e.g., 5K/30fps, 4K/30/60fps)
- Loop video

Image Storage and Playback

Wi-Fi Connection
Follow these steps to connect your camera to a mobile device via Wi-Fi:
- Install the 'iSmart DV' mobile application on your smartphone or tablet. For Android devices, download from 'Smart DV (China)'; for Apple iOS devices, download from the App Store. Other systems can download from Google.
- On the camera, go to Settings and enable the wireless network hotspot. The Wi-Fi interface will appear on the screen.
- On your mobile device, turn on Wi-Fi, search for 'Action Cam', and connect using the initial password: 1234567890.
- Once successfully connected, the camera screen will indicate 'Wi-Fi connected'. You can now use the iSmart DV app to take photos and videos, and download them to your phone.
Note: If your mobile phone prompts 'no Internet' when connected to the camera's Wi-Fi, choose to 'not switch/cancel' to maintain the connection to the camera.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your CERASTES V11 Action Camera, follow these maintenance tips:
- Keep the camera in a cool, dry, and dust-free environment when not in use.
- Use the provided wipe cloth to gently clean the lens and screens. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Ensure all ports are closed when not in use, especially before exposing the camera to water.
6. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Image Stabilizer Not Appearing in Settings: Navigate to the camera's settings menu while in video mode. The anti-shake function (Electronic Image Stabilization) should be an option there. If it's still not visible, ensure your camera's firmware is up to date.
- Memory Card Issues: If the camera is not recording or showing errors related to the memory card, ensure you are using a Micro SD card with a U1 or higher speed rating and a capacity between 32GB and 128GB. Format the card directly in the camera's settings.
