The ITH-13-B comes with 2 AAA batteries pre-installed. Before first use, you need to remove the insulating strip.
- Open the back cover of the unit.
- Remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment.
- Close the back cover. The ITH-13-B will then switch on automatically.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Display Overview
The 2.3-inch LCD screen displays real-time temperature and humidity. It also shows MAX/MIN recordings for 24 hours, 48 hours, or all time, which can be configured in the app.
5.2. Air Comfort Level Indicator
The device features an air comfort level indicator (Dry, Comfort, Wet) to help you easily understand the indoor air quality. You can customize the comfort level ranges within the INKBIRD app to suit your specific needs or the requirements of delicate items.
5.3. Changing Temperature Unit and Clearing Max/Min Records
- Change Temperature Unit: Press the button on the top of the device to switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- Clear Max/Min Records: Press and hold the button on the top of the device to clear the recorded maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values.
5.4. Data Logging and Export
The ITH-13-B can store up to 300 days of data on-board, depending on the recording interval set in the app. You can view and export up to 2 years of historical data directly from the INKBIRD app.
