Setup
1. Mounting
The U'King LED Par Light comes with two mounting brackets for flexible installation. You can:
- Place the light on a flat surface using the brackets as a stand.
- Attach the brackets to a truss or lighting stand using appropriate clamps (not included) and the provided screws. Ensure the mounting is secure and stable.
2. Power Connection
Connect the provided power cable to the light unit and then to a compatible AC 90-240V, 50/60Hz power outlet. Ensure the plug type (US, EU, or UK) matches your region's standard.
3. DMX Connection (Optional)
For DMX control, connect a standard three-core XLR cable from your DMX controller's output to the light's DMX input. If using multiple lights in a DMX chain, connect the DMX output of the first light to the DMX input of the next, and so on. Ensure the last light in the chain has a DMX terminator (not included) for stable signal transmission.
Operating Modes
The U'King LED Par Light offers several operating modes, which can be selected via the 4-digit digital display and control buttons on the unit:
- Automatic Mode (Self-propelled): The light cycles through pre-programmed effects and color changes automatically.
- Voice Control Mode: The light reacts to sound and music. The sensitivity of the sound detection can be adjusted. For optimal performance, the sound level should be at least 80 decibels.
- Master-Slave Mode: Connect multiple lights together. One light acts as the master, controlling all other slave units, ensuring synchronized effects.
- DMX Mode: For professional control, connect the light to a DMX512 controller. You can select between 4 or 8 DMX channels to control various parameters like color, dimming, and strobe effects.
- Strobe Light: Produces rapid flashes of light, with an adjustable strobe rate of 1-25Hz.
- Jumping/Crossfading: These are specific effects often found within Automatic or DMX modes, referring to abrupt color changes (jumping) or smooth transitions (crossfading).

- 4-Channel Mode: Typically controls basic functions like master dimming, red, green, and blue intensity.
- 8-Channel Mode: Provides more granular control, including individual RGBW dimming, strobe speed, program selection, and sound sensitivity.
Refer to the DMX chart in the included English Manual for detailed channel assignments and values.
