5.2. Camera Installation

The device includes front and rear cameras for comprehensive recording.

5.3. Wiring and Power Connection

Connect the power cables to your motorcycle's electrical system. It is recommended to have this done by a qualified technician if you are unsure.

  1. Connect the red power cable to a switched 12V power source (e.g., ignition).
  2. Connect the black ground cable to the motorcycle's chassis ground.

  2. Upon first use or after a reset, you may be prompted to set a power-on password. This feature helps prevent theft.
  3. Enter a memorable 4-digit password using the on-screen keypad and confirm.
  4. The default password is "0000" if not set.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Main Interface Navigation

The device features a touchscreen interface. Swipe left/right or tap icons to navigate through menus and applications.

6.2. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

Connect your smartphone wirelessly to access navigation, music, calls, and other apps.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.
  2. On the device, select the "PhoneLink" icon, then choose "CarPlay" for Apple devices or "Auto" for Android devices.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth. The device name will typically be "CAR-BT_A827" with a PIN Code "0000".
  4. Once paired, the device will automatically connect to CarPlay or Android Auto.

6.3. DVR Functions (Recording)

The dual 2K-HDR cameras continuously record your ride. The G-Sensor automatically protects footage in case of an incident.

  • Automatic Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device powers on.
  • G-Sensor Lock: In the event of a sudden impact or vibration, the G-Sensor will automatically lock the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten.
  • Manual Photo/Video Lock: Use the remote control's "Photo lock key" (short press for photo, long press for video lock) to manually save important moments.
  • Playback: Access recorded videos through the DVR application on the main unit.

  • Bluetooth Headset Connection: Pair your Bluetooth headset via the "BT" menu for audio output.
  • TF Card Reading: Insert a TF card (up to 128GB) for recording and storage.
  • Screen Mirroring: Use "Airplay" for iOS or "Wireless..." for Android to mirror your phone screen.
  • Language Settings: Navigate to "Setup" > "System" > "Language" to change the display language.
