1. Introduction

The XHDATA D220 is a compact and portable multi-band radio featuring FM, MW (AM), and SW reception. Equipped with advanced DSP technology, it offers stable reception and clear, high-quality sound. 2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The XHDATA D220 radio is powered by two AA batteries (UM3 AA 1.5VX2), which are not included. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the radio.
  2. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring to strictly follow the polarity instructions (+/-) marked inside the compartment. Incorrect installation can damage the device.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control

To turn the radio on, push the VOLUME switch clockwise until you hear a "click" sound and the power indicator light illuminates. To turn it off, push the VOLUME switch counter-clockwise until you hear a "click" sound and the indicator light turns off. The same VOLUME switch is used to adjust the listening volume.

3.2 Band Selection

Use the Band Switch (labeled '1' in the diagram) to select your desired frequency band: FM1, FM2, MW, or SW.
