The A8 Pro rear lamp features 4 light modes:

  • Auto Fast Strobe: Automatically adjusts to ambient light conditions.
  • Breathing: A pulsating light effect, also with intelligent light sensing.
  • Manual Pop Strobe: A manually controlled flashing mode.
  • Steady: Constant illumination.

3.2 Intelligent Sensing

The A8 Pro is equipped with intelligent light sensing technology. In 'Auto Fast Strobe' or 'Breathing' modes, the light automatically senses the riding environment. When the environment is bright, the lights will dim or turn off to save power. When it's dark, the lights will become brighter for enhanced visibility. This AI light detection ensures accurate and stable performance.

3.3 Intelligent Braking Light

When the bicycle brakes and decelerates, the taillight will automatically illuminate at full brightness for 3 seconds. This feature significantly improves safety by alerting following traffic to your deceleration.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Charging the Rear Lamp

The A8 Pro rear lamp is equipped with an 800mAh battery and charges via a Micro USB interface. It supports up to 5V 2A input. A full charge provides approximately 8-30 hours of runtime, depending on the mode used. Ensure the USB silicone plug is properly sealed after charging to maintain water resistance.

4.2 Remote Control Battery Replacement

The remote control uses a replaceable 12V/27A battery. This battery is not rechargeable. When the remote's range or responsiveness decreases, it may be time to replace the battery.

4.3 Water Resistance

The A8 Pro has an IP65 ingress protection rating, meaning it is water splash-proof. It is designed to withstand rain and splashes but should not be submerged in water.

4.4 Cleaning

Wipe the lamp and remote control with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device's surface or seals.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the device is charged. If it's in an intelligent sensing mode, check the ambient light conditions.
  • Remote control not responding: Check the remote control battery. Ensure the main unit is activated after charging.
  • Alarm not activating/deactivating: Follow the remote control instructions carefully for setting and cancelling the alarm. Ensure the remote is within range of the rear lamp.
  • Brake light not working: Ensure the rear lamp is securely mounted and the intelligent sensing feature is active.
