4. Controls and Ports
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports on your device:


- Video Button: Short press to switch to Video mode. In Video mode, short press to power on/off LCD display.
- Menu Button: In Video mode, short press to view file information, edit, and select play mode.
- Return Button: Short press to return to the previous page.
- BT Button: Short press to enter Bluetooth mode.
- Play/Pause Button (►II): Short press to play/pause music.
- Next Track Button (►►): Short press for next track (Video/Music/Radio). Long press for fast forward (Video/Music).
- Previous Track Button (◄◄): Short press for previous track (Video/Music/Radio). Long press for rewind (Video/Music).
- SW Button: Short press to enter SW band. Long press to auto-search SW stations.
- FM Button: Short press to enter FM band. Long press to auto-search FM stations.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
This model uses 18650 lithium batteries (included). When installing the battery, pay close attention to the correct polarity/direction of the battery. It is recommended to use the same type and model batteries for replacement to ensure optimal performance and life of the radio.


5.2 Charging
To charge the device:
- Connect the small plug of the supplied USB charging cable into the DC 5V (Type-C) Port on the unit.
- Connect the full-size USB plug to a USB power source, such as a USB charger, PC/MAC, etc.
- The battery icon on the LED display screen will blink during charging and remain steadily lit once charging is complete.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Push the Power ON/OFF switch to the ON position to power on the unit.
6.2 Bluetooth Connection
To connect via Bluetooth:
- Short press the BT Button to enter Bluetooth mode. The word "BLUE" will blink on the LED display screen.
- On your mobile phone or other external Bluetooth device, search for available devices and select "SANSUI" (or similar device name) once found.
- The device will connect, and the "BLUE" indicator will stop blinking.


6.3 Radio Operation (FM/MW/SW)
To listen to the radio:
- Extend the antenna for better reception.
- Short press the FM, MW, or SW Button to enter the desired radio band.
- Automatic Search: Long press the respective band button (FM/MW/SW) for a few seconds. The unit will automatically search and store all available stations, then play the first stored station.
- Manual Tuning: Turn the Tuning Button or use the Number Keys (1-0) to select specific stations.
- Next/Previous Station: In Radio mode, short press the Next Track (►►) or Previous Track (◄◄) buttons to switch between stations.


6.4 Media Playback (Video, Music, E-books, Images)
The device supports playback of various media types from a USB flash drive or TF (Micro SD) card. Ensure your media files are stored on the card/drive before insertion.




General Steps:
- Power on the unit.
- Insert the USB flash drive or TF (Micro SD) Card containing your media files into the respective slot.
- Short press the Video Button to enter the main media mode and power on the LCD display screen.
- Use the navigation buttons or number keys to select the desired media type icon (Music, Video, E-books, Images) on the screen.
6.4.1 Video Playback
Supported formats include H.264HP high bitrate decoding: RM, AVI, MKV, VOB, MOV, FLV, ASF, DAT, MP4, 3GP, MPG, MPEG, etc. Supports full format 720P high-definition video playback, up to 1080P.
- Select the "Video" icon.
- Short press the Play/Pause (►II) Button to start playing the video.
- During video playback, long press Next Track (►►) or Previous Track (◄◄) to fast forward or rewind. Short press again to exit fast forward/rewind.
- Short press Next Track (►►) or Previous Track (◄◄) to go to the next or previous video.
6.4.2 Music Playback
Supported audio formats include MP3, WAV, OGG, APE, FLAC, etc. Supports lyrics display if an accompanying ".LRC" lyric file is present in the same directory as the audio file.
- Select the "Music" icon.
- Short press the Play/Pause (►II) Button to start playing music.
- During music playback, long press Next Track (►►) or Previous Track (◄◄) to fast forward or rewind. Short press again to exit fast forward/rewind.
- Short press Next Track (►►) or Previous Track (◄◄) to go to the next or previous song.
6.4.3 E-book Display
Supported e-book formats include TXT and ANSI.
- Select the "E-books" icon.
- Short press the Play/Pause (►II) Button to start displaying the e-book.
- Short press Next Track (►►) or Previous Track (◄◄) for page turning.
- Short press Play/Pause (►II) Button to activate automatic page flipping.
- Press the Menu Button to set up automatic reading interval, quickly turn pages, switch fonts, and change backgrounds.


6.4.4 Image Display
Supported image formats include JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, etc.
- Select the "Images" icon.
- Short press the Play/Pause (►II) Button to start displaying images.
- Short press Next Track (►►) or Previous Track (◄◄) for image turning.
- Short press Play/Pause (►II) Button to activate automatic image turning (PPT mode).
- Press the Menu Button to set up the PPT playing interval, image zooming, and view image information.
6.5 Earphone Listening
Connect 3.5mm wired headphones to the Earphone Jack to enjoy private listening.

9. Important Safeguards
- Do not allow water to spill onto the surface or into the product.

- If the battery is completely flat, connect the USB charging cable to charge the unit. Please note the unit may not work properly for the first couple of minutes of charging.

- Power Source: The device is primarily battery-powered for portability but can also operate while connected to a DC 5V/1A power source via the Type-C USB charging cable.
- Media Content: Remember that music, video, picture, and e-book content must be stored on a TF card or USB flash drive and then inserted into the device for playback. The device does not have built-in internet connectivity or a TV tuner for broadcast television channels.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, use the same type and model batteries for replacement. If the unit will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries and store them properly.
- Screen Protection: While the screen is durable, avoid placing heavy objects on the unit or exposing it to direct impacts to prevent damage.
