5. Installation
5.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Before installation, carefully unpack the unit and inspect it for any damage. Ensure all accessories are present. If any damage is found or parts are missing, contact your dealer immediately.

5.2 Mounting the Unit
- Choose a vertical surface for mounting.
- Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the inverter's weight.
- Allow sufficient clearance around the unit for proper heat dissipation (refer to safety information for ventilation).
- Mark the positions for drilling holes using the inverter as a template.
- Securely fasten the inverter to the wall using appropriate screws and anchors.
5.3 Electrical Connections
All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes. It is highly recommended that a qualified electrician performs the electrical connections.
- Battery Connection:
- Connect the battery cables to the BATTERY terminals (+ and -) on the inverter. Ensure correct polarity.
- Use appropriate cable gauges for the battery current.
- The inverter supports 12V batteries for the 1KW model and 24V batteries for the 1.5KW model.
- Compatible battery types include GEL, FLD (Flooded), SLD (Sealed Lead-Acid), LFE (Lithium Iron Phosphate), USE (User-defined), and LI (Lithium).

Figure 5: Compatible Battery Types. - PV (Solar Panel) Connection:
- Connect the solar panel array to the PV IN terminals (+ and -).
- Ensure the PV array open circuit voltage and power are within the inverter's specifications (Max PV 150Vdc, Max PV Array Power 600W for 1KW, 1200W for 1.5KW).
- Observe correct polarity to avoid damage.
- AC Input Connection (Utility/Generator):
- Connect the AC input source (utility grid or generator) to the AC IN terminals.
- Ensure the input voltage is 230Vac and frequency is 50Hz/60Hz.
- An INPUT BREAKER is provided for protection.
- AC Output Connection (Loads):
- Connect your AC loads to the AC OUT terminals.
- The inverter provides a pure sine wave output at 230V AC.
- Ensure the total load does not exceed the inverter's rated output power (1000W or 1500W).

6. Operation
6.1 Initial Startup
- After all connections are made and verified, switch on the battery breaker (if installed).
- Turn on the main power switch on the inverter.
- The LCD display will light up, and the inverter will perform a self-test.
- Once the self-test is complete, the inverter will begin operation according to its default or previously configured settings.
6.2 LCD Display and Control Buttons
The inverter features an LCD display and several buttons for monitoring and configuration.

- ESC: Exit current menu or setting.
- UP/DOWN: Navigate through menus or adjust settings.
- ENTER: Confirm selection or enter a submenu.
6.3 Working Modes Configuration
The inverter offers flexible working modes to optimize power usage. These can typically be configured via the LCD panel.
- Charging Modes (Input Priority):
- Only Solar: Charges batteries only from solar panels.
- Solar First: Prioritizes solar charging, then utility/generator if solar is insufficient.
- Mains & Solar: Charges from both utility/generator and solar simultaneously.
- Output Modes (Output Priority):
- Solar First: Prioritizes solar power to loads, then battery, then utility.
- Utility First: Prioritizes utility power to loads, then battery, then solar.
- SBU Priority (Solar-Battery-Utility): Solar power to loads, then battery, then utility.
- MKS Priority (Mains-PV-Battery): Utility power to loads, then PV, then battery.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your inverter.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the inverter with a dry cloth. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris. The built-in anti-dust kit helps, but regular checks are still recommended.
- Connection Checks: Annually, inspect all electrical connections (battery, PV, AC input/output) for tightness and corrosion. Loose connections can cause overheating and damage.
- Battery Inspection: Check battery terminals for corrosion and ensure they are clean and tight. Monitor battery voltage and health as per battery manufacturer guidelines.
- Environment: Ensure the installation environment remains within the specified operating temperature and humidity ranges.
8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter. For more complex problems, contact technical support.
9. User Tips
- Battery Selection: When choosing a battery, consider its capacity (Ah) to match your power consumption and desired backup time. The inverter is compatible with various battery types, including lead-acid (flooded, AGM, sealed, gel) and lithium (LiFePO4). Ensure the battery voltage matches your inverter model (12V for 1KW, 24V for 1.5KW).
- Battery-less Operation: While the inverter is designed for hybrid operation with batteries, some users may wish to operate it primarily with solar panels and utility as backup. Ensure your system configuration and load management are appropriate for such a setup, especially if you do not require battery backup.
- Power Consumption: Monitor your load to ensure it stays within the inverter's rated capacity to prevent overloads and ensure stable operation.
- Environmental Considerations: Keep the inverter in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area to maximize its lifespan and efficiency.
