8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your stopwatch, please try the following basic troubleshooting steps:

  • Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is not depleted. Although it has a long standby time, prolonged storage or heavy use may drain the built-in CR2032 battery.
  • Display issues: If the display is dim or flickering, the battery may be low. Try replacing the CR2032 battery if accessible, or contact support.
  • Buttons unresponsive: Ensure no debris is lodged around the buttons. If the issue persists, a factory reset (if available, check specific model instructions) might resolve it.
  • Inaccurate timing: Ensure the stopwatch is used in a stable environment and not subjected to extreme conditions. If timing remains inaccurate, the device may require professional servicing.
  • Water damage: While the device has domestic water resistance, it is not fully waterproof. If exposed to excessive water, turn it off immediately and allow it to dry completely before attempting to use it again.

For persistent problems, please refer to the Warranty and Support section.

9. User Tips

  • Utilize the key mute function in sensitive environments like libraries or during quiet training sessions to avoid disturbance.
  • Regularly check the battery level if your model provides an indicator, especially before important events.
  • Familiarize yourself with the button layout and functions in a relaxed setting to ensure quick and accurate operation during high-pressure situations.
  • For interval training, combine the stopwatch and countdown functions for precise timing of work and rest periods.
