Care and Maintenance
- Waterproof Seal: Always ensure the rubber plug at the Type-C charging port is fully embedded and sealed before riding, especially in wet conditions, to maintain the IPX6 waterproof rating.
- Cleaning: Clean the light with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the bicycle light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it has a partial charge (around 50%) before storing to prolong battery life.
- Battery Care: Avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Recharge the light when the indicator shows low battery.
Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Check the battery indicator.
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not just a quick press.
- Light not charging:
- Check the Type-C cable for any damage. Try a different cable if available.
- Ensure the cable is properly connected to both the light and the power source.
- Try a different USB power adapter or port.
- Reduced brightness or endurance:
- The battery may be low. Fully charge the light before use.
- Battery performance can degrade over time with extensive use.
Important Safety Information
- Eye Safety: Please do not shine the light directly into anyone's eyes, as this may cause temporary visual impairment or harm.
- Heat Dissipation: The lamp head will dissipate heat during prolonged use, which is a normal phenomenon. Avoid touching the lamp head directly when it is hot.
- Initial Use: When using the product for the first time out of the package, please fully charge the headlamp to ensure normal operation and optimal battery performance.
- Warranty Exclusions: Human damage or product damage caused by incorrect use is not covered by the warranty.
User Tips
- Pre-Ride Check: Always check the battery level before starting your ride, especially for longer journeys, to avoid unexpected power loss.
- Secure Mounting: Ensure the light is securely mounted to your handlebar or bracket to prevent it from falling off during bumpy rides or sudden stops.
- Optimize Modes: Utilize the flashing mode during daylight hours or in well-lit urban areas to increase your visibility to others while conserving battery life. Use higher brightness modes for unlit roads.
- Waterproof Seal: Double-check that the Type-C charging port's rubber plug is fully sealed before riding in any wet conditions to maintain the light's waterproof integrity.
