2. Setup and Installation
General Installation Notes
- Since the machine moves during transportation, it is attached with a protective film to prevent damage. Before use, please record some videos to test the camera's quality.
- Use only the original power supply. Using another brand of power supply may damage or burn the equipment.
- If you want to use the parking monitoring or motion detection function, you need to use a buck line (Hardwire kit) to connect the video recorder to the car battery (the buck line is sold separately).
- Install this unit near the rear-view mirror so that you can record a wide-angle landscape at its maximum.
- Ensure that the lens is within the wiper's range so that you can record clearly even in the rain.
- Do not touch the lens with your finger. Finger oil can remain on the lens, causing unclear video or still images. Clean the lens regularly with a soft cloth to remove dust. Avoid chemical detergents, gasoline, alcohol, or anti-static sprays.
- This product is suitable for most cars. For trucks, pay attention to the length of the car charger line.
- Please scan the provided QR code to watch our installation video before installing the video recorder. It is highly recommended to ask a professional auto mechanic to complete the installation at an auto shop.

Rear Camera Installation
Connect the rear camera's red cable wire with your car's reverse lamp positive pole (+). Then, plug the car charger into the cigar lighter to power the car DVR. When you shift your car into Reverse Gear, the car DVR will automatically switch to the rear camera with parking lines, enabling the auto-reversing function.
Buck Line Installation (for 24H Parking Monitoring)
The buck line is used to provide continuous power to the DVR for 24-hour parking monitoring without occupying the cigarette lighter interface. You will need to find two fuse slots for this step:
- A fuse slot that provides constant power (RED wire will go here).
- A fuse slot that only provides power when you turn your key to the ACC position (YELLOW wire will go here).
- Connect the BLACK wire to the grounding screw or bolt.
