  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures. If not using the camera for an extended period, remove the battery.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

  • Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Try a different battery if available.
  • Recording issues (e.g., freezing, corrupted files): Ensure you are using a high-speed (Class 10 or higher) MicroSD card. Format the MicroSD card in the camera's settings.
  • Wi-Fi connection problems: Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on the camera and your smartphone. Re-enter the Wi-Fi password if necessary. Ensure you are within the effective range.
  • Remote control not working: Check if the remote control is paired correctly with the camera. Ensure the remote's battery is not depleted.
  • Poor image quality (blurry, shaky): Ensure the lens is clean. Activate EIS in video settings for smoother footage. Check lighting conditions.
  • Short battery life: Battery life is approximately 60-90 minutes depending on usage. Recording at higher resolutions (e.g., 5K, 4K) and using Wi-Fi will consume more power. Consider carrying spare batteries for extended use.
  • Camera not responding to touch screen: Ensure the screen is clean and dry. If using the waterproof case, the touch screen functionality may be limited or unavailable; use physical buttons instead.
  • Can the angle be modified? The lens has a fixed 170° wide angle. Some digital zoom or field-of-view options might be available in the camera settings to crop the image, but the physical lens angle remains 170°.
  • Does the camera have car mode/dash cam mode? Yes, the 'Loop Video' function allows the camera to continuously record and overwrite old footage, which is suitable for dash cam use.

9. User Tips

  • For best video quality, especially when using EIS, ensure your MicroSD card is a high-speed Class 10 or UHS-I (U1/U3) rated card.
  • Always perform a quick check of the waterproof case seal before diving or using in water.
  • Utilize the dual screens effectively: the front screen for framing yourself, and the rear touch screen for detailed settings and playback.
  • Experiment with different video resolutions and frame rates to find the best balance for your specific activity and desired output.
  • When connecting to a TV via HDMI, ensure both devices are powered on and the correct input source is selected on the TV.
  • The camera supports an expandable microphone, which can significantly improve audio quality in noisy environments or for vlogging.
