5. Setup

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Short press the Return/On-Off button when the device is off.
  • To Power Off: Long press the Return/On-Off button when the device is on.

Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB Type-C cable. The display screen will show the current power volume during charging.

5.3 Basic Settings (Initial Use)

  • Language: Navigate to the 'Settings' menu (by pressing OK) and select 'Language' to choose your preferred language.
  • Date and Time: Set the correct year, month, day, and hour in the 'Settings' menu.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Main Interface Navigation

  • Switching Palettes: On the main interface, use the Up and Down direction buttons to cycle through the available color palettes.
  • Switching Imaging Modes: Use the Left and Right direction buttons to switch between visible light imaging and infrared imaging (if applicable).
  • Accessing Menu: Press the OK button to display the primary menu.
  • Screen On/Off: Short press the Return/On-Off button to turn off the screen and save power. Press any key to turn it back on.

6.2 Photographing and Video Recording

  • To Take a Photo: Short press the Trigger button. Images are saved in JPG format.
  • To Record a Video: Long press the Trigger button. Videos are saved in MP4 format.

6.3 Album

  • Accessing Album: From the main interface, press OK to open the primary menu. Select the 'Album' option using the direction buttons and press OK to enter.
  • Viewing Files: Pictures and videos are arranged by shooting time. Use the direction buttons to select a file. Press OK for full-screen display or playback.
  • Navigating Files: While in full-screen display or playback, use the Left and Right direction buttons to switch between previous and next files.
  • Exiting Album: Press the Return/On-Off button to return to the album list interface.

6.4 Temperature Measurement Modes

  • Conventional Measurement: Supports temperature measurement at the center point, as well as continuous high/low temperature tracking.
  • Regional Measurement: Allows selection of specific regions for center point and high/low temperature tracking. You can zoom in or out on the temperature measurement region for different scenarios.

6.5 Laser Indicator

  • Activating Laser: From the main screen, press OK to bring up the primary menu. Select the 'Laser' option using the direction buttons and press OK to activate it.

  2. The device will be recognized as a USB drive by your computer's operating system (e.g., Windows).
  3. You can then copy the stored photos (JPG) and videos (MP4) directly from the device to your computer for archiving and viewing.
