6.2. Speed Sensor Installation
If your SKU includes a speed sensor, install it near a rotating part of your wheel (e.g., brake disc or sprocket) where it can detect magnets. Ensure the sensor is securely mounted and the gap between the sensor and the magnet is appropriate for reliable signal detection.
6.3. Mounting the Speedometer
Use the provided bracket (if included) to securely mount the speedometer to your motorcycle's handlebars or dashboard. Ensure the display is clearly visible to the rider and does not obstruct vision or controls.
7. Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered on, the speedometer will perform a self-check and display current readings.

7.1. Display Interface
The LCD screen displays the following information:
- Speed: Current speed in km/h or mph.
- RPM: Engine revolutions per minute.
- Odometer (ODO): Total accumulated distance.
- Trip: Resettable trip distance.
- Fuel Gauge: Indicates fuel level (5 levels).
- Gear Indicator: Displays current gear (1-5, N).
- High Beam Indicator: Lights up when high beams are active.
- Left/Right Turn Indicators: Flash with turn signals.
- Engine Fault Light: Illuminates to indicate an engine issue.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the display and casing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion.
- Waterproof Seal: While the unit is sealed and waterproof, avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at the display or connections.
9. Troubleshooting
- No Power/Display: Check the power (green and black) wire connections and ensure the motorcycle's ignition is on. Verify the 12V power supply.
- Incorrect Speed Reading: Ensure the speed sensor is correctly installed and detecting the magnets. Check the red speed signal wire connection. Calibration may be required depending on wheel size and sensor type.
- Incorrect RPM Reading: Check the blue-white RPM wire connection to the ignition coil or appropriate RPM signal source.
- Indicators Not Working: Verify connections for turn signals (orange, light blue), high beam (blue), and neutral (green-red).
- Display Flickering: Check for loose connections or unstable power supply. Ensure the battery voltage is stable.
10. User Tips
- For optimal visibility, adjust the mounting angle to minimize glare from sunlight.
- Regularly check the tightness of mounting bolts, especially after riding on rough terrain.
- If you experience inconsistent speed readings, try adjusting the distance between the speed sensor and the magnets, or adding more magnets if necessary.
