4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Automatic Watering Schedule

The app allows you to program up to 10 sets of watering schedules. You can define the duration and even the specific water capacity for each irrigation event. This ensures regular watering and prevents over-irrigation.

  • Duration Setting: Set the length of time for each watering session.
  • Capacity Mode: Specify the exact volume of water (e.g., liters) to be dispensed, useful for precise watering or tasks like pool filling.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Filter

The water timer has a built-in filter to purify water and prevent blockages. Periodically check and clean the filter to ensure optimal performance and prevent debris from affecting water flow.

5.2 Battery Care

The device is equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery designed for a lifespan of up to 10 years, continuously charged by the solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for efficient charging. While the battery is designed for long-term use, if you notice issues with charging or power, verify the solar panel's exposure.

5.3 Waterproofing

The timer boasts an IP65 waterproof rating, making it suitable for outdoor use. While it is designed to withstand splashes and rain, avoid submerging the device in water.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. Move the timer closer to the router if the signal is weak. Re-attempt the pairing process in the app.
  • Watering Not Starting/Stopping: Check your programmed schedules in the app. Verify that the rain delay function is not active due to recent weather conditions. Ensure the faucet is fully open.
  • Inaccurate Water Flow: Clean the built-in filter to remove any blockages.
  • Battery Not Charging: Ensure the solar panel is clean and exposed to direct sunlight. Obstructions like glass or shade can significantly reduce charging efficiency.
  • Frequent Battery Charge Messages (Q&A Hint): If you receive daily battery charge messages even when the battery appears full, ensure the solar panel has consistent, unobstructed sunlight. The system might be detecting minor fluctuations or insufficient charging over time.
