6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your EASUN POWER Solar Hybrid Inverter. Perform the following checks periodically:
- Cleaning: Keep the inverter's exterior clean and free from dust and debris. Ensure ventilation openings are unobstructed.
- Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections (AC input/output, PV input, battery input) for tightness and signs of corrosion. Loose connections can lead to overheating or poor performance.
- Environment: Ensure the inverter is operating within its specified temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, rain, or excessive moisture.
- Battery Health: If using batteries, monitor their health and charge status. Ensure battery equalization is functioning correctly to extend battery life.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates that may improve performance or add new features.
Always disconnect all power sources (PV, AC, Battery) before performing any maintenance or cleaning to prevent electric shock.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your inverter, refer to the LED indicator messages in Section 5.1. Here are some general troubleshooting steps:
- No Power/No Display: Check AC input, battery connections, and ensure the power switch is ON. Verify the circuit breaker is not tripped.
- Fault Indicator (Red Solid On): This indicates a fault. Consult the detailed error codes in the full manual (if available) or contact technical support.
- Warning Indicator (Red Flashing): This indicates a warning condition. Check for conditions like high temperature, overload, or low battery voltage. Address the underlying cause.
- No Solar Charging: Verify PV panel connections, ensure PV voltage is within the MPPT range, and check for shading on panels.
- Overload Protection: If the inverter shuts down due to overload, reduce the connected load and restart the inverter.
For complex issues or persistent problems, it is recommended to contact qualified technical support.
