3.2 Placement

The main unit can be placed on a table using its built-in bracket or magnetically attached to a metal surface (e.g., refrigerator door) using the magnets on its back. The wireless transmitters should be placed in the areas you wish to monitor, such as inside a refrigerator, freezer, or outdoors. Ensure the transmitters are within the 100-meter wireless range of the main unit, free from significant interference.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Once batteries are installed, the units will power on automatically. There is no explicit power button. To turn off, remove batteries.

4.2 Temperature Display

The main unit's LCD screen displays real-time temperatures for both Sensor 1 and Sensor 2. It also shows the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) recorded temperatures for each sensor.

4.3 Unit Conversion (°C/°F)

Press the '°C/°F' button on the main unit to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays.

4.4 Min/Max Temperature Records

The display automatically tracks and shows the highest and lowest temperatures recorded since the last reset. To clear the cache and reconnect the signal, which also resets the Min/Max records, press the designated button (refer to Figure 2 for location).

4.5 Alarm Settings

The thermometer features an audible and visual alarm. You can set independent high and low temperature alarm thresholds for each sensor.

  1. Press the alarm setting button for Sensor 1 (bell icon with '1') or Sensor 2 (bell icon with '2').
  2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the desired high and low temperature alarm values.
  3. Confirm your settings.

When the temperature detected by a sensor exceeds its preset maximum or falls below its preset minimum, the thermometer will emit an audible alarm and display a visual alert (e.g., flashing alarm icon).

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the unit stops responding. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new ones of the same type.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe the thermometer and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the units in water.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Display: Check if batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Incorrect Readings: Ensure sensors are placed appropriately and not exposed to direct heat sources or extreme cold beyond their operating range.
  • No Wireless Signal: Ensure transmitters are within 100 meters of the main unit and there are no major obstructions. Try pressing the 'Clear cache to reconnect signal' button on the main unit (refer to Figure 2).
  • Alarm Not Working: Verify that alarm thresholds are set correctly and the alarm function is enabled.
