4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the scooter with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electronic components.
  • Tires: Check tire pressure weekly. The 10-inch air tires require proper inflation for optimal performance and safety. Inspect for wear and tear.
  • Brakes: Periodically check the hydraulic brake system for proper function. Ensure brake levers are responsive and brake pads are not excessively worn.
  • Battery Care: Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to prolong its lifespan. Avoid completely draining the battery. Store the scooter in a cool, dry place.
  • Folding Mechanism: Keep the folding mechanism clean and free of debris. Lubricate moving parts if necessary to ensure smooth operation.
  • General Inspection: Before each ride, perform a quick check of all bolts, nuts, and connections to ensure they are secure.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Scooter not turning on: Check if the battery is charged. Ensure all connections are secure.
  • Reduced range or power: This could indicate a low battery charge, improper tire pressure, or riding in extreme conditions (e.g., steep hills, strong headwinds). Ensure the battery is fully charged and tires are inflated correctly.
  • Braking issues: If brakes feel loose or unresponsive, inspect the brake lines and pads. Consult a professional for hydraulic brake adjustments if needed.
  • Unusual noises: Stop riding immediately and inspect the scooter for any loose parts, debris, or damage.
