- For 4.00 pH point (after 6.86 pH calibration):
- Prepare 250ml of 4.00 pH standard solution.
- Ensure 6.86 pH calibration is complete.
- Short press the TEMP/CAL button again. The display will flash '4.00' three times.
- The 4.00 pH calibration is finished.
- For 9.18 pH point (after 6.86 pH calibration):
- Prepare 250ml of 9.18 pH standard solution.
- Ensure 6.86 pH calibration is complete.
- Short press the TEMP/CAL button again. The display will flash '9.18' three times.
- The 9.18 pH calibration is finished.
Note: If you calibrate the meter in the wrong solution or in the air, it will flash "ERR" on the screen. The meter will return to the last step of operation. If necessary, recalibrate the meter.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator flashes, it's time to replace the batteries.

8. Troubleshooting
- "ERR" Message During Calibration: If the display shows "ERR" during calibration, it indicates that the meter was calibrated in the wrong solution or in the air. Please ensure the correct buffer solution is used and the electrode is fully immersed. Recalibrate the meter following the steps in Section 5.4 and 5.5.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the electrode is clean. Rinse with distilled water.
- Check battery level; replace if low.
- Recalibrate the meter if it hasn't been calibrated recently or if readings are consistently off.
- Ensure the temperature of the sample is within the meter's operating range.
- No Display/Power Issues:
- Check if batteries are inserted correctly.
- Replace batteries if they are old or depleted.
9. User Tips
- For best accuracy, always ensure the electrode is thoroughly rinsed with distilled water before and after each measurement.
- When measuring, gently stir the meter in the sample to ensure a stable reading.
- Keep calibration solutions fresh and at room temperature for optimal calibration results.
- Avoid touching the electrode with your fingers, as oils and contaminants can affect readings.
