3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Printer

Before first use, ensure the printer is fully charged using the provided USB Type-C cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). The printer has a 2000mAh large-capacity battery.

3.2 App Installation (for Mobile Devices)

For wireless printing via Bluetooth, download the "Luck Jingle" app from Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iPhone/iPad). The app is compatible with both iOS and Android phones/tablets.

3.3 Driver Installation (for PC)

For wired printing via PC, you may need to install the appropriate drivers. Drivers can be found at: https://www.luckjingle.com/. For Macbooks, an A-to-C adapter may be required for the USB connection.

3.4 Loading Transfer Paper

  1. Remove Protective Page: Carefully remove the transparent whitesheet (protective page) from the tattoo transfer paper.
  2. Open Printer: Open the printer cover.
  3. Insert Transfer Paper: Insert the transfer paper into the printer with the yellow paper facing up. Ensure it is aligned correctly to prevent jams.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Wireless Printing (Bluetooth)

  1. Ensure the printer is powered on and fully charged.
  2. Open the "Luck Jingle" app on your smartphone or tablet.
  3. In the app, connect to the printer via Bluetooth.
  4. Select the tattoo design you wish to print from your device.
  5. Adjust print settings (if available) within the app.
  6. Initiate the print command from the app. The printer will feed the paper and create the stencil.

4.2 Wired Printing (PC)

  1. Ensure the printer is powered on.
  2. Connect the printer to your computer using the USB Type-C data cable.
  3. If not already installed, install the necessary drivers from https://www.luckjingle.com/.
  4. Open your desired image editing software or a document with your tattoo design.
  5. Select the MP-8018T printer from your computer's print dialogue.
  6. Adjust print settings as needed.
  7. Initiate the print command. The printer will feed the paper and create the stencil.

4.3 Transferring the Stencil

  1. Once the stencil is printed, carefully cut out the desired pattern.
  2. Apply stencil ointment to the skin where the tattoo will be placed.
  3. Press the printed stencil firmly onto the prepared skin.
  4. Carefully peel off the stencil paper to reveal the transferred design.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the exterior of the printer with a soft, dry cloth.
  • To clean the thermal print head, use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Ensure the printer is off and cool before cleaning.
  • Remove any paper dust or debris from the paper path to prevent jams and maintain print quality.

5.2 Storage

  • Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • When not in use for extended periods, ensure the printer is fully charged before storage and recharge periodically to maintain battery health.
  • Use only A4 thermal transfer paper specifically designed for tattoo stencils.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Printer not connecting via Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the printer, and that the printer is within range. Try restarting both the printer and your device.
  • Poor print quality: Check if the transfer paper is loaded correctly (yellow side up). Ensure the print head is clean. Try adjusting print density settings in the app/driver.
