Setup Guide
1. NVR Hard Drive (HDD) Installation (Optional)
If you purchased an NVR without a pre-installed HDD or wish to upgrade, follow these steps:
- Unscrew and remove the cover of the Mini WiFi NVR.
- Connect the SATA data and power cables from the NVR to the 2.5" SATA HDD.
- Secure the HDD within the NVR casing using the provided screws.
- Replace the NVR cover and secure it with screws.

2. Power Connection
Connect the provided 12V power supplies to each camera and the NVR. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Network Connection
Your system supports two connection methods:
- WiFi Connection (2.4GHz): The cameras and NVR are designed for automatic pairing. Simply power on both the cameras and the NVR. The NVR will automatically detect and connect to the cameras wirelessly. Connect the NVR to your router via the provided network cable for internet access and remote viewing.
- Wired Connection (RJ-45 Cable): For a more stable connection, you can connect individual cameras directly to your router or a network switch using RJ-45 Ethernet cables.

4. Display Connection
Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using an HDMI cable to view the live feed and configure settings.
5. Remote Access Setup (iCSee App/Client)
To access your cameras remotely:
- Download the iCSee app from your mobile app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android) or the iCSee client for Windows/Mac from the official website.
- Register an account and log in.
- Add your NVR system by scanning the QR code or entering the NVR's serial number (usually found on a sticker on the NVR).
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

Operating Instructions
1. Live View and Playback
- Access the live feed from your cameras via the connected monitor or the iCSee app/client.
- The system supports 7x24 hours loop recording. You can playback recorded footage through the NVR interface or the iCSee app.
2. PTZ Camera Control
The PTZ cameras offer flexible viewing angles:
- Pan: Rotate horizontally up to 270°.
- Tilt: Adjust vertically up to 90°.
Control the camera's movement remotely using the iCSee mobile app to monitor any desired area.

3. Dual-Lens and Dual Screen Functionality
The cameras feature a dual-lens design, providing multiple views simultaneously within the iCSee app. One screen displays a fixed-position view, while the other shows the PTZ camera's adjustable view.

4. Smart Night Vision
The cameras are equipped with IR-Cut LED lights and white light LEDs, offering three night vision modes:
- Infrared Night Vision: Provides clear black and white footage up to 20 meters in low light conditions.
- Color Night Vision: Utilizes white light LEDs to provide full-color video up to 10 meters at night.
- Double Light Vigilance: Combines infrared and white light for enhanced visibility and deterrence when motion is detected.

5. AI Humanoid Motion Detection
The system features smart AI Humanoid detection technology. When abnormal motion is detected, the system will:
- Send a notification to your iCSee app.
- Record a short video clip of the event.
- Activate lighting and a built-in siren (if configured).
You can customize motion detection areas to focus on specific zones and reduce false alarms.

6. Two-Way Audio
The built-in microphone and speaker allow for two-way audio communication. You can listen to audio from the camera's location and speak through the camera using the iCSee app, which can be useful for communicating with visitors or deterring intruders.

7. Storage Management
The NVR supports multiple storage options:
- Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB) into the NVR's dedicated slot. Note that for Micro SD card storage, a maximum of 4 cameras can be connected to the NVR.
- SATA HDD: Install a 2.5" SATA HDD (up to 4TB) for extended recording capacity. This is recommended for better recording performance and longer storage duration.
- Cloud Storage: The system also supports cloud storage options (subscription may be required).

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Regularly clean the camera lenses with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality.
- Wipe down the camera and NVR housing with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
2. Firmware Updates
Check the iCSee app or the manufacturer's website periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your system's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
3. Environmental Considerations
The cameras are IP66 waterproof, designed to withstand various weather conditions including rain, snow, and wind. However, ensure proper installation to prevent water accumulation around connections or mounting points.
4. Storage Management
Regularly review your recorded footage and manage storage space. If using an SD card or HDD, ensure it has sufficient capacity. Consider backing up important footage to cloud storage or an external device.
Troubleshooting
No Image/Video Feed
- Check Power: Ensure all cameras and the NVR are properly powered on and connected to a working power outlet.
- Network Connection: Verify that the NVR is connected to your router and has internet access. For WiFi cameras, ensure they are within range and connected to the NVR's WiFi network.
- NVR-Display Connection: If using a monitor, check the HDMI cable connection between the NVR and the display.
- Camera Pairing: If cameras are not showing, try re-pairing them with the NVR according to the user manual's instructions.
Poor WiFi Signal/Connectivity
- Distance/Obstacles: The WiFi signal strength decreases with distance and through walls. Try repositioning the NVR or cameras closer to each other, or consider using a wired connection for cameras experiencing poor signal.
- Interference: Other electronic devices can interfere with WiFi signals. Try to minimize interference sources.
Motion Detection Not Working
- Sensitivity Settings: Adjust the motion detection sensitivity in the iCSee app or NVR settings.
- Detection Zones: Ensure that the motion detection zones are correctly configured to cover the desired areas.
- Schedule: Check if motion detection is enabled for the current time period in the settings.
Cannot Access Remotely
- Internet Connection: Confirm that both your NVR and the device you are using for remote access (phone/computer) have a stable internet connection.
- App/Client Login: Ensure you are logged into the iCSee app/client with the correct credentials.
- NVR Serial Number: Double-check that the NVR was added correctly using its serial number.
User Tips
- Optimal HDD Usage: For continuous and reliable recording, especially with multiple cameras, it is highly recommended to install a dedicated SATA HDD in the NVR. While Micro SD cards are supported, HDDs offer greater capacity and often better performance for security systems.
- Strategic Camera Placement: When installing cameras, consider the WiFi coverage limitations. Place cameras within optimal range of the NVR or router, especially if walls are present, to ensure a stable connection.
- Leverage AI Detection: Utilize the AI Humanoid Detection feature to minimize false alarms from pets or swaying branches. Customize detection zones to focus on critical entry points or areas of interest.
- Regular System Checks: Periodically check your system's live feed and recorded footage to ensure all cameras are functioning correctly and recording as expected. This helps catch potential issues early.
- Secure Your Network: Always use strong, unique passwords for your WiFi network and the iCSee app/NVR access to protect your security system from unauthorized access.
