The transmitters are equipped with internal rechargeable batteries.

Charging the Transmitter:

Use the provided USB-C charging cable to connect the transmitter to a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port). The indicator light on the transmitter will be red during charging and will turn off once fully charged.

Charging instructions for the transmitter: Connect charging cable; red light indicates charging, light off indicates full charge.

Figure 9: Transmitter Charging

  • Battery Life (TX): Approximately 6 hours on a full charge.
  • Charging Time (TX): Approximately 1.5 hours for a full charge.

The receiver draws power from the connected iOS device. It may also feature a charging port for pass-through charging of the iOS device while the receiver is connected.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the microphone units. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the system in the provided storage bag when not in use to protect it from dust and physical damage.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery longevity, avoid fully discharging the transmitters frequently. If storing for extended periods, charge the batteries to about 50% every few months.
  • Wind Muffs: Attach the wind muffs when recording outdoors or in windy conditions to reduce unwanted noise. Clean them gently if they become dirty.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
