5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Wiring Diagram
Refer to the diagram below for proper connection of the power, audio, video, and other inputs/outputs. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device.

5.2 Power Connection Safety
The device features a power supply positive and negative pole reverse connection protection function. This helps prevent damage if the power cord is connected incorrectly. If the unit does not power on after installation, double-check the wiring. Reconnect correctly and start normally.

5.3 Antenna Connection
Ensure the radio antenna is securely inserted into the designated port on the rear of the unit for optimal FM/AM reception.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Manual Retractable Screen
The 7-inch screen can be manually extended and retracted. Gently pull or push the screen to adjust its position.

6.2 User Interface
The device features an intuitive user interface with various icons for different functions. Navigate through the menus using the touchscreen or physical buttons.

6.3 Radio Operation (RDS)
Access the radio function to tune into FM stations. The RDS (Radio Data System) feature allows you to receive additional information from compatible radio stations, such as station name and traffic announcements.

6.4 Bluetooth Connection
Pair your mobile device via Bluetooth 5.1 for hands-free calling and audio streaming. The default Bluetooth name is 'SWL-BT'.

6.5 Android Auto / Apple CarPlay
Connect your smartphone to access Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. This allows you to use your phone's navigation, music, messages, and other apps directly on the car stereo display. Both wired and wireless connections are supported.

6.6 Mirrorlink Function
Mirrorlink allows you to project your Android or iPhone screen onto the car stereo display. For Apple phones, connect via cable. For Android phones, you may need to install a specific app for screen casting and touch control.

6.7 Multimedia Playback
Play audio, video, and image files from a U disk, SD card, or AUX input. The device supports various formats including MP3, AAC, APE, OGG, M4A, RA, WAV for audio; H263, H264, H265, DIVX HD, AVI, FLV, MKV, MPEG, MP4, WMV9, VC, ASF, TS, QT for video; and JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIFF for images.

6.8 Reversing Video
When an optional reversing camera is connected, the unit will automatically switch to a full-screen reversing image when the vehicle is in reverse, assisting in safe parking and maneuvering.

6.9 Steering Wheel Controls
The device supports learning functions for original car steering wheel buttons, allowing you to control various functions of the MP5 player directly from your steering wheel.

6.10 Colorful Lights
Customize the button backlighting with 7 different colors. Colors can be cycled or selected individually (red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, purple, white).

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, dampen the cloth lightly with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents as they may damage the surface.
7.2 Screen Care
The capacitive touchscreen is sensitive. Avoid using sharp objects or excessive force on the screen. Clean the screen with a microfiber cloth designed for electronics to prevent scratches.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Power Issues
Problem: The car radio does not turn on.
- Solution 1: Verify the car radio voltage is DC 12V.
- Solution 2: For testing purposes, connect the red and yellow wires to the positive side of a 12V power supply, and the black wire to the negative side.
- Solution 3: Check and replace any blown fuses with a fuse of the same type.
- Solution 4: Ensure you are using the provided power cords to connect the car radio. Do not directly insert the original car plug into the unit.
8.2 Reversing Camera Issues
Problem: The car radio displays "No Signal" when reversing.
- Solution 1: Confirm that the camera line is properly connected to the car radio.
- Solution 2: Ensure the video port from the rear camera is inserted into the "CAMIN" port on the car radio.
8.3 Video Playback Warning
Problem: The camera displays "!" and "Can not watch video while driving" when playing videos via USB.
- Solution: Turn off the "Warning" function in the device settings.
8.4 FM Radio Reception
Problem: Cannot search for FM stations.
- Solution 1: Ensure the radio antenna is inserted.
- Solution 2: Make sure the radio antenna is securely plugged in.
9. User Tips
- For optimal performance of Android Auto/CarPlay, ensure your smartphone's operating system is up to date.
- When using Mirrorlink, some Android phones may require a specific app to be installed for full functionality, including touch control.
- Regularly check all wiring connections, especially after driving on rough terrain, to ensure they remain secure.
- If experiencing issues with Bluetooth connectivity, try unpairing and re-pairing your device, or restarting both the car stereo and your phone.
10. Warranty and Support
10.1 Limited Warranty
BQCC provides a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for defective items, excluding items damaged or misused after receipt. Accessories are covered by a 3-month warranty.
Defective items must be reported and returned within the specified warranty period, preferably in their original packaging. You must provide details of the defect and your order number. The warranty does not cover items with an expired warranty.
