7. Troubleshooting
- Q: How do I make the Carplay or Android Auto connection?
- A: For wireless connection, first pair your phone with the host screen via Bluetooth. Then, confirm to use Carplay or Android Auto on your phone. The connection uses 5G Wi-Fi. Carplay will connect automatically for iPhone after initial pairing. Android phones require a tap on the screen to confirm Android Auto use. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are active. For wired connection, use a USB cable.
- Q: How is the waterproof effect?
- A: This product has an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it can be used normally in various scenarios such as car cleaning and rainy days.
- Q: Can I download APKs via Wi-Fi?
- A: No, the monitor does not run on an Android system and does not support downloading APK files. Its Wi-Fi is solely used for connecting Carplay or Android Auto and transferring data with your phone to ensure a stable and automatic connection.
- Q: Does it have a built-in power module?
- A: It does not have a built-in power module. Therefore, after a power cycle, the date and time settings may reset. However, it retains Bluetooth connectivity, and once CarPlay is automatically connected, it will synchronize the time from your iPhone.
8. User Tips
- Seamless Connectivity: Always ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled before starting your ride for quick and automatic Carplay/Android Auto connection.
- Optimal Viewing: Adjust the display unit's angle to minimize glare and ensure clear visibility of the screen and your motorcycle's instruments.
