5. Installation
5.1. Wiring Notes
Important: Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the unit or vehicle. Always ensure correct connections.
- When the yellow B+ line and the red ACC line both receive 12V positive power simultaneously, the unit can be turned on normally.
- The yellow B+ line maintains power for memory functions.
- There are 8 speaker cables. Each cable must not be grounded, shared, or touch other lines. Failure to follow this can result in no sound output, distorted sound, or overheating.
- The power cord will not burn up if connected incorrectly due to built-in wiring protection.

5.3. Installation Steps
Follow these steps to install your Android Navigation Player:
- Finding the Car's Power Cord:
Turn the car key to the ACC state. Set a multimeter to 20V. Connect the black probe to the power ground (outer metal of the cigarette lighter) and use the red probe to test each wire. Typically, a car has two 12V wires (some have one). These are the positive pole lines. To distinguish ACC from memory lines, remove the car key after finding both positive lines. The memory line remains electrically charged after the key is unplugged. - Finding the Car's Ground Wire (Negative Pole):
Set the multimeter to the continuity beep mode. Connect the black probe to the power ground (outer metal of the cigarette lighter) and use the red probe to test all wires except the two power lines. The wire that shows continuity is the ground wire (negative pole). Some cars may have two ground wires. - Finding the Car's Horn Line:
Set the multimeter to the continuity beep mode. Connect the black probe to any wire except the power cord and ground wire. Use the red probe to test the remaining wires. The energized wire is the horn wire. Use the same method to find other horn lines. - Testing Unit Functionality Before Installation:
Before full installation, it is recommended to test the unit using a battery or power supply. Connect the red and yellow wires together to the positive pole. Connect the black wire to the negative pole. Press the power button to turn on the unit. Connect a horn to the horn wire. (Note: Two wires connected to the horn are the same color. The white wire should connect to the positive pole, and the white wire with a black stripe to the negative pole. You do not need to distinguish between positive and negative poles of the horn.) Test the unit's functions. - Fixing the Machine:
Since car models vary, there is no single defined way to fix the unit. You can consult the original unit's fixing method. If it was fixed with screws and a steel angle, you can remove the steel angle from the original unit and attach it to both sides of your new unit. Use electrical tape if screw holes don't match. If the original unit was fixed with an iron frame, fix our unit's iron frame in the car first, then push the unit to secure it. If the size doesn't fit, wrap the unit with electrical tape to increase its volume, then insert and secure it. - Installing the Navigation Antenna:
First, secure the navigation antenna and the unit with screws. Then, fix the navigation antenna module in a location with direct sunlight or on the windshield. This is crucial for optimal navigation signal reception.
5.4. Reversing Camera Wiring
Follow these steps for connecting the reversing camera:
- Identify Connections:
Locate the reversing control line on the unit's power harness (usually a pink or brown wire). Connect this line to the 12V positive pole, which will turn the screen blue. Find the CAM video input interface on the back of the unit, and identify the positive and negative poles of the backup light. - Connect the Camera:
The camera has two sockets. Connect the red socket to the power cable. Insert the yellow plug into the video cable. The red wire of the power cable and the video cable should be twisted together and connected to the positive pole of the reverse lamp. The black wire of the power cable is not used. The other end of the video cable connects to the CAM video input interface on the back of the unit. The red wire coming from the video cable connects to the reversing control line of the power line.

7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues and their solutions.
7.1. Unable to Boot Normally
- Incorrect Wiring: If only two of the yellow, red, and black wires are connected, the unit will not start. Ensure yellow is connected to positive, red to key control, and black to negative.
- Non-Standard Car Wiring: If original car wiring colors are not standard and connected incorrectly, the unit may not only fail to turn on but also burn out.
- Incompatible Plug: The original car plug cannot be directly plugged into the new unit. Even if it fits, it may not work or could burn out.
- Blown Fuse: If the three wires are connected correctly but the unit doesn't boot, check the fuse on the yellow line. If the fuse is intact, twist the yellow and red wires together, turn the key, and press the power button to check.
- Repeated Fuse Blowing: If the fuse blows every time it's replaced, it indicates a short circuit in the unit's protection circuit. The unit needs professional repair.
- Final Confirmation: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, connect the yellow and red wires to a 12V battery (positive) and the black wire to negative. Press the power button. If it boots, the original car wiring is incorrect. If it doesn't boot, the unit is faulty.
7.2. Automatic Shut-Down
- Cable Error: If the blue (automatic antenna power supply) cable is connected to the unit's power cable, it will automatically shut down. Correct the wiring.
- Unstable Voltage: Test the unit with a stable 12V-5A power supply. If it no longer shuts down automatically, replace your car's power supply. If it still shuts down, the unit is faulty.
7.3. Noise Issues
- Low Speaker Power: If the original speaker power is too low, increasing the unit's volume will cause noise. Solution: Replace the speaker or reduce the volume.
- Grounded Speaker Cable: If the speaker cable is grounded, connect the iron speaker cable directly to the unit's speaker cable.
7.4. Remote Control Not Working
- Test Remote: Use a mobile phone camera to view the remote's IR emitter while pressing buttons. If the IR light doesn't flash, there's no power. Replace the battery.
7.5. Settings Not Saved (No Memory)
- Incorrect Wiring: Ensure the yellow and red lines are connected correctly (yellow to positive, red to key control).
- Reversed Wiring: If yellow and red are reversed, swap their connections.
7.6. Bluetooth Not Working
Turn on the unit, enable Bluetooth on your phone, search for the unit's name, and click connect. Once connected, you can make calls or play music via Bluetooth.
7.7. Unit Smoking / Internal Circuit Burned
If the unit smokes, the internal circuit is burned. Replacing the fuse will not solve the problem. The unit requires professional repair.
7.8. Sound Adjustment / Equalizer Issues
- Adjusting Volume: Rotate the volume knob to adjust the sound.
- Equalizer Settings: Press the volume knob to display the equalizer SEL, then rotate the knob to adjust sound effects.

7.11. FM Not Receiving Programs
- Antenna Connection: Ensure the antenna plug is fully inserted. Check if the antenna is disconnected or the line is faulty.
- Channel Search: Hold the AMS button for 2 seconds for automatic channel search, or use the up/down buttons for manual search. If issues persist, unplug the antenna and insert a screwdriver or metal strip in its place to test.
7.12. No Sound After Installation
- Speaker Cable Short Circuit: Check if the speaker cable is short-circuited or incorrectly connected. Reconnect if necessary.
- Speaker Configuration: Verify the number of speaker cables. If only two speaker cables are present and do not match the unit's requirement for four, re-route the original car line. One speaker requires two cables.
7.13. No Sound After a While
- Speaker/Wiring Issue: Disconnect all speaker cables from the unit. Connect an external speaker to the gray and purple wires of the tail line. If there is sound, the car's speaker line is short-circuited or the speaker is damaged. If there is no sound, the unit is faulty.
