1. Product Overview

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unboxing and Package Contents

Carefully unpack your K12 Karaoke Machine and ensure all items are present:

  • K12 Portable Karaoke Machine Speaker
  • Wireless Microphone(s) (1 or 2 depending on model)
  • USB Charging Cable
  • Instruction Manual

2.2 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the speaker and microphone(s).

  • Speaker: Connect the USB charging cable to the C-type charging port on the speaker and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The speaker has a 2000mAh 3.7V built-in lithium battery. Full charging takes approximately 2-3 hours.
  • Microphone(s): Connect the USB charging cable to the microphone's charging port. Each microphone has a 500mAh battery.

2.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the K12 speaker by pressing and holding the Power On/Off button.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "K12 Pro" to pair.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will indicate a successful connection.
  5. Power on the wireless microphone(s). They should automatically connect to the speaker.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Speaker Controls

The speaker features several buttons for easy control:

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the designated button to turn the speaker on or off.
  • Mode Switch (M): Press to cycle through input modes (Bluetooth, TF card, USB, Aux).
  • Volume Up (+): Increase the speaker volume.
  • Volume Down (-): Decrease the speaker volume.
  • Light Control: Press the light button to change RGB lighting modes or turn lights off.
  • Vocal Elimination (消原音): Press this button to remove or reduce the original vocals from a song, enhancing the karaoke experience.

3.2 Microphone Usage

The wireless microphone(s) are designed for ease of use:

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the microphone.
  • Volume Control: Use the +/- buttons on the microphone to adjust its volume.
  • Voice Effects: Press the dedicated button on the microphone to cycle through 5 different voice effects: Original, Baby, Male, Female, and Monster.

3.3 RGB Lighting

The K12 features dynamic RGB lighting to create a lively atmosphere. Use the light control button on the speaker to switch between four ambient light modes:

  • Panchromatic rotation
  • Monochromatic alternation
  • Gradient effect
  • Panchromatic respiration
  • Monochromatic respiration

3.4 Multiple Playback Sources

In addition to Bluetooth, the K12 supports various audio input methods:

  • Aux Play: Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the Aux port.
  • TF Card Play: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card loaded with WMA format audio files into the TF card slot.
  • USB Play: Insert a USB drive with WMA format audio files into the USB port.

4. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry and away from moisture to prevent damage.
  • Clean the speaker and microphones with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Charge the batteries regularly, even if the device is not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Bluetooth Connection Issues

  • Device not connecting: Ensure the K12 speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and that "K12 Pro" is selected. Try forgetting the device on your phone/tablet and re-pairing.
  • Intermittent connection: Ensure your device is within the 10m effective range of the speaker. Avoid obstacles that may interfere with the Bluetooth signal.

5.2 Volume and Echo Not Working

  • No sound from speaker: Check the speaker's volume level and the volume level on your connected device. Ensure the correct input mode is selected.
  • No sound from microphone: Ensure the microphone is powered on and charged. Check the microphone's volume level.
  • Echo effect not present: Verify that the microphone is properly connected to the speaker. Some voice effects might override or modify the echo.

5.3 Other Issues

  • Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the charging cable and try again.
  • Distorted sound: Reduce the volume on both the speaker and the connected device. Ensure the audio source quality is good.
