Setup and Installation
1. Prepare the SD Card
The Neideso N700 comes with a specially adapted 64GB SD card. Insert the SD card into the designated slot on the dash cam before powering it on. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
2. Mount the Dash Cam
Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash cam. Attach the windshield mount to the main unit and then securely affix it to the windshield. Adjust the angle to ensure a clear view of the road ahead.
3. Connect the Rear Camera
Route the rear camera cable from the main unit to the desired location for the rear camera (typically on the rear windshield). Connect the rear camera to the main unit. Ensure the rear camera is positioned to capture a clear view behind your vehicle.
4. Connect the GPS Module
Plug the GPS module into its dedicated port on the dash cam. Position the module in an area with a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.
5. Power Connection
Connect the car charger with the Type C USB cable to the dash cam and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The dash cam will typically power on automatically when the vehicle ignition is turned on.
6. CPL Filter Installation
Attach the CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter to the front camera lens. This filter helps reduce glare and reflections from the windshield and road, improving video clarity, especially in bright conditions.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts, and power off when the ignition is turned off.
- Screen Display: The main unit features a screen to view live footage and navigate settings.
Recording Features
- Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in short segments. When the SD card is full, it automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked videos with the newest ones.
- G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video footage, saving it to a separate "EVENT FOLDER" to prevent it from being overwritten.
- 24H Parking Mode: For continuous surveillance when your vehicle is parked, a hardwire kit (sold separately) is required. This mode utilizes a radar parking monitor to detect activity around your vehicle.
