The ZTE U10S Pro is a portable 4G LTE WiFi 6 mobile router designed to provide high-speed internet access on the go. With support for up to 32 simultaneous connections and a peak Wi-Fi speed of 229Mbps, it ensures a smooth and efficient online experience for multiple devices.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your ZTE U10S Pro mobile WiFi router:

5.1. Insert SIM Card and Battery

  1. Remove the back cover of the device.
  2. Insert a nano SIM card into the designated SIM card slot. Ensure it is correctly oriented.
  3. Insert the 3000mAh removable battery into its compartment.
  4. Replace the back cover.

5.2. Charge the Device

Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB to Type-C cable. The device will begin charging. It is recommended to fully charge the device before first use.

5.3. Power On

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or top) until the digital display lights up.

5.4. Connect to Wi-Fi

On your computer, smartphone, or other Wi-Fi enabled device:

  1. Go to your device's Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Search for available networks.
  3. Select the network name (SSID) displayed on your ZTE U10S Pro's screen or on the label inside the device (e.g., ZTE_D526EC).
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Key (password) displayed on your ZTE U10S Pro's screen or on the label (e.g., 2UMP6WY4).
  5. Your device should now be connected to the internet.

5.5. Access Device Manager

For advanced settings and monitoring, you can access the device manager via a web browser:

  1. Ensure your device is connected to the ZTE U10S Pro's Wi-Fi network.
  2. Open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.0.1.
  3. Log in using the credentials provided on the device label or in the Quick Start Guide.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the power button until the screen lights up.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the device prompts you to power off, then confirm.

6.2. Monitoring Device Status

The round digital display provides real-time information:

  • Signal Strength: Indicates the strength of the 4G LTE signal.
  • Battery Level: Shows the remaining battery charge.
  • Wi-Fi Status: Indicates if Wi-Fi is active and if devices are connected.
  • Connected Users: Displays the number of devices currently connected.
  • Data Usage: May show current data traffic or total usage (check device manager for detailed info).

6.3. Connecting Multiple Devices

The ZTE U10S Pro supports up to 32 devices simultaneously. Simply connect each device to the Wi-Fi network using the SSID and password as described in the setup section.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Charging

Charge the device regularly using the provided Type-C USB cable and a compatible power adapter. Avoid using damaged cables or chargers.

7.2. Battery Care

The 3000mAh battery is removable. For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the device for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and remove it if possible.

7.3. Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

7.4. Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1. No Internet Connection

  • Check SIM Card: Ensure the nano SIM card is correctly inserted and active with a valid data plan.
  • Signal Strength: Verify that the device has adequate 4G LTE signal strength as indicated on the display. Move to an area with better coverage if needed.
  • Data Plan: Confirm your data plan has not expired or run out of data.
  • Device Manager: Access the device manager (http://192.168.0.1) to check network status and settings.

8.2. Slow Wi-Fi Speed

  • Signal Strength: A weak 4G LTE signal will result in slower Wi-Fi speeds.
  • Number of Devices: Too many connected devices (up to 32 supported) can impact performance. Disconnect unnecessary devices.
  • Interference: Move the device away from other electronic devices that might cause Wi-Fi interference.

8.3. Device Not Powering On

  • Battery Charge: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a charger and try again.
  • Battery Insertion: Verify the battery is correctly inserted.

8.4. Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi

  • SSID/Password: Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. These are displayed on the device screen and on the label inside the device.
  • Wi-Fi Enabled: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the ZTE U10S Pro.
