6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and keyboard surface.
- For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps using a keycap puller and use compressed air to clear debris from between switches.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the transparent PC material.
6.2. Battery Care
- Charge the keyboard using the provided Type-C cable when the battery is low.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
- Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place if not in use for extended periods.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| Keyboard not responding in wireless mode | Ensure the keyboard is charged, the mode switch is set correctly (2.4G or Bluetooth), and the USB receiver is properly plugged in (for 2.4G). Re-pair Bluetooth if necessary. |
| RGB lighting not working or stuck | Check if the keyboard is in a low power state. Try cycling through RGB modes using Fn key combinations. If using software, ensure it's updated and running correctly. |
| Keys not registering or double-typing | This could indicate a faulty switch. Since the keyboard is hot-swappable, try removing and re-inserting the switch, or replacing it with a new one. Clean any debris around the switch. |
| Difficulty switching between Windows/macOS | Ensure you are using the correct Fn key combination as indicated on the keyboard or in the software. |
| Keyboard disconnects frequently | For wireless modes, ensure there are no strong interferences (e.g., other wireless devices). Keep the keyboard within range of the receiver/device. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. |
8. User Tips
- Experiment with Switches: Take advantage of the hot-swappable feature to try different switch types (linear, tactile, clicky) to find your preferred typing feel.
- Customize RGB: Explore the various RGB lighting modes and colors. If available, use the dedicated software to create personalized lighting profiles.
- Optimize for OS: Remember to switch to the correct operating system mode (Windows or macOS) for optimal key functionality and shortcuts.
- Regular Cleaning: Due to the transparent design, dust and debris can be more visible. Regular cleaning will keep your keyboard looking pristine.
