4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the mouse and a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The mouse can be used in wired mode while charging.

4.2 Connecting the Mouse

The X5 mouse offers three connectivity modes: 2.4GHz Wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C Wired. The mode switch button is located on the bottom of the mouse.

4.2.1 2.4GHz Wireless Mode

  1. Locate the USB receiver stored in the back of the mouse.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "2.4G" position.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.

4.2.2 Bluetooth 5.0 Mode

  1. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "BT" position.
  2. On your computer or device, open Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  3. Select "Attack Shark X5" (or similar) from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. The mouse's RGB lighting may indicate pairing status.

4.2.3 USB-C Wired Mode

  1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the mouse and an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "OFF" position.
  3. The mouse will function as a wired mouse and charge simultaneously.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 DPI Adjustment

The X5 mouse features 5 adjustable DPI levels. Press the DPI button located on the bottom of the mouse to cycle through the settings: 800, 1600, 2000, 2400, and 4000 DPI.

5.2 RGB Backlight Control

To turn the RGB lighting off or on, long-press the scroll wheel button.

5.3 Ergonomics and Comfort

6. Maintenance
