2. Setup Instructions
2.1 Package Contents
Before you begin, please ensure all items are present in the package:

2.2 Initial Charging
It is recommended to fully charge the keyboard before its first wireless use. Connect the keyboard to a USB power source using the provided Type-C cable. The charging indicator (if present) will show the charging status.
2.3 Connection Methods
The V98 Pro V2 supports three connection modes:
- Type-C Wired Connection: Connect the keyboard directly to your computer using the provided Type-C cable. This mode also charges the keyboard.
- 2.4G Wireless Connection: Insert the 2.4G USB receiver into your computer's USB port. The keyboard should automatically connect. The receiver can be stored in a dedicated slot on the keyboard's bottom shell when not in use.
- Bluetooth 5.0 Connection:
- Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode.
- On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone), search for Bluetooth devices.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Switching Connection Modes
Use the switch located on the keyboard to toggle between Wired, 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth modes. Refer to the keyboard's physical layout for the exact switch location, often found on the top edge or bottom.
3.2 RGB Backlighting

3.3 Hot-Swappable Switches
The keyboard supports full key hot-swapping, allowing you to easily change mechanical switches without soldering. This feature is compatible with most 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. Use the provided two-in-one shaft puller for safe removal and installation of switches.

3.4 Gasket Structure
The Gasket structure design eliminates most of the cavity sound and prevents noise generated by hard collisions, resulting in a cleaner and purer typing sound and feel.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Keycaps: The PBT keycaps are durable. For general cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be removed using the provided puller and washed with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
- Keyboard Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard body. For dust and debris between keycaps, use compressed air.
- Dust Cover: Utilize the included dust cover when the keyboard is not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
4.2 Switch and Keycap Replacement
To replace switches or keycaps:
- Gently use the two-in-one shaft puller to remove the desired keycap.
- Once the keycap is removed, use the switch puller end of the tool to carefully grip the switch and pull it straight up.
- Align the new switch with the PCB sockets, ensuring the pins are straight, and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
- Place the new keycap onto the switch stem and press down gently.
5. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode switch (wired, 2.4G, Bluetooth) matches your intended use. For wired, try a different USB port or cable. For 2.4G, ensure the receiver is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, re-pair the device.
- Keys not registering: If specific keys are not working, try removing and re-inserting the switch using the provided puller. Ensure the switch pins are not bent.
- RGB backlight not working/incorrect: Check the keyboard's manual or software for backlight control shortcuts. Ensure the plate driver software is installed and updated for full customization.
- Wireless connection issues: Ensure the keyboard is within range of the receiver/Bluetooth device. Avoid interference from other wireless devices. Try re-pairing or re-connecting the 2.4G receiver.
- Battery not charging: Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and a working USB power source. Try a different cable or power adapter.
